It will probably do well enough if they market it, but nowhere near as much as it would have made a few years ago

If this had been released right after the season 2 finale, it would have done insane box office

it feels like there is no way it can possibly do well, randos are gonna say "well i didn't watch mando <at all, only s1>" and just say they "will wait till its on streaming and watch all of mando" and of course never watch any of it. the shit we got in s3 also is a huge turn off for paying more money to see woke nonsense on a big screen (Queen Lizzo)

tv->movie can do ok, like downton abbey or naked gun or Demon Slayer but its exceedingly rare and i just don't think 50%+ of the audience for Mando TV gives a fuck about going to theaters

I'm not excited about it, but I'll watch it eventually on Disney Plus. I usually subscribed for a month about twice a year which is enough time for me to watch what I missed and re-watch some older stuff I like.

There's a reason they put Grogu in the title. Grogu was huge 5 years ago. Do most of those people still care? Do most still care enough to go to a theater instead of waiting for it to hit Disney+? No idea, but "The Mandalorian & Grogu" absolutely does better numbers than a "The Mandalorian" film would have.

"It's alright, we have a white-male-led movie with Ryan Gosling, that we paid an arm and a leg for, to associate with our mis-managed poorly run dead-on-the-silverscreen studio"

Please clap for faggot Grogu.
