Han Solo dying probably had more to do with Ford wanting that lol
That’s what I remember reading but who the fuck knows because he came back as a force ghost in RoS. God that’s fucking stupid, Han Solo as a force ghost? Fuck off.

As I said in a previous post, the toy manufacturers have long since adapated their lines to what works.

Hasbro and LEGO, the two main Star Wars stuff manufacturers, are focusing mostly on the original trilogy, a little less on the prequels, and a little on the current flavor of the month (Maul Shadow Lord and Mando & Grogu lately), but absolutely nothing from the sequel trilogy for years and years.

It's rather telling.
My 9yo girl whom never watched star wars had the time of her life, laughing and being generally entertained and interested, because grogy and anzellans, good baby, bad baby. I can't wait to show her the OG trilogy. I guess Mrs. Izo loved the ewoks back in the day (and the horrible other movies with ewoks). Girls are just into cute and funny, I gather. Thanks LEGO for making grogu x 3, yoda, ewok - my wallet is bleeding bricks. And I like the helmets, Darth, Stormtroopers. My livingroom is booming with lego starwars and lego botanicals. Jebus.

Those Backrooms numbers are insane considering the original budget. Same for Obsession

Hollywood probably hasn’t seen that level of ROI since Blair Witch Project lol

The only way to save the Star Wars IP is now to release a Star Wars Galaxies Classic server

I was wondering why they never did that with SWTOR, but apparently there was some stuff about them only saving builds from the last few patches.

Both versions of the Imperial Agent main quest line were better than Disney Star Wars

Not sure if it is still up, but there was a emulated server for SWG up semi-recently (although it was post-Jedi patch I believe)

The story quests and most of the planet questlines were fantastic. Too bad they used an old shitty engine and had very little endgame at launch because playing it as KOTOR 3 was great.

As a person who has enjoyed all the Star Wars animated stuff like Clone Wars, this movie was very enjoyable. I liked all the Hutt stuff, especially since it's a big throwback to the Clone Wars episodes where Rotta was just a baby saved by Anakin and Ahsoka. Zeb being Mando's partner was awesome and glad he got a nice fight scene with his Bo-rifle. Seeing Embo in live action was pretty sweet and I think it was smart to have that solo Grogu time to show that he is really learning and growing up. I can see where those that don't have as much backstory knowledge would find it kinda meh though.

Already rolled over and died at the box office.
Watching the Drinker video on Backrooms, and it makes me think it's not that movies or the theater experience is dead post-covid, but rather everyone has just rejected the dog shit Hollywood has been putting out.

I think we all like to point out Endgame and covid as the end of an era, but I wonder if we've been looking at it all wrong. By the time Endgame came around, people were already rejecting it, but wanted to finish out the saga that took a decade to unfold. But it wasn't covid that killed theaters, maybe they were already dead?
