I hate you, behemoth, aeon and another band are doing a string of west coast dates but skipping Portland. I considered going to Seattle but it's on a Tuesday.

Well don't hate me too much, good metal shows aren't very common here. We did have a great Slayer show in December though. Aeon is with them as well. Some other band I forget the name of too.

Holy shit thems some old bands, I remember way back when Testament Trial by Fire was my favorite video (Headbangers Ball was the be all end all on MTV) never really cared for Exodus, the only thing they they ever gave us that was good was Kirk Hammet.
No, not going. It would be awesome though. I missed them when they came to town last year with Amon Amarth. I was a sad panda
Yeah i never really could get into Exodus either, but they made a huge mark on the thrash scene and do not get the credit they deserve. Gary Holt can shred just as well. Testament were my boys back in the day. I played the shit out of The New Order and Practice What You Preach. I remember telling my parents they were a christian rock band so they wouldn't give me too much grief, lol. I'm not sure my dad believed me. Testament still put out great tunes but I didn't care for the new Exodus album. Souza's voice grates on my nerves after a while.
Gotta admit I'm generally not into folk/power/pirate-whatever metal like this, but something about Alestorm is pretty rad. Can't wait to see them on Thursday!
