Exactly. All earlier ability to move the ball will just vanish, the D will give up random big plays that should never happen. Trick plays and bits of luck go the other team's way, and before you know it you're getting blown out.

Packers need something out of this drive. Points of any kind would be optimal, but at least run a little clock and change field position.

Putting Lacy to work is a smart idea. He hasn't gotten a lot, but he's over 70 yards on the day. Chew up some yards and some clock, then dial up play action.
