what in the fuck are you talking about? at no point did i offer a bet over the out come of a single game
You run your mouth that I am going to lose my bet and that you will be happy to be rid of me, given the chance to make it permanent and you back out and try to change the bet to something regarding deflate gate instead of the outcome of the game, you are a gigantic fucking pussy who knows the patriots are going to lose and refuse to take the bet.

Lleauaric, I believe you're wrong. If you re-listen to Belichicks interview, he says they prepare the balls which they found raises the PSI 1lb, they then present the balls to the officials and ask for them to be set at 12.5, he then says he doens't know if they do it or not. If the air is heated from the buffers an is an artificial 13.5, when 1lb of the heated air is let out this will drop them to an artifical 12.5. When that air reaches it's 70 degree equilibrium they will be at 11.5, and could then fall depending on the weather, atmospheric tempatures.

I'd imagine we'll find out it's common for most footballs and rarely if ever do the refs check the balls after the games.

If the NFL was going to say this was nothing they would have already done so. The fact it's going to be a long investigation and people are leaking things to people like Glazer and Mort indicating they are looking into equipment personnel would lead me to believe there is going to be punishment. They're just waiting til after the Super Bowl. Any Patriot fan thinking this is just going to fade away is kidding themselves. They obviously don't buy Belichek's random variance theorem.

After the Ray Rice incident they are going to act like it's an act of congress over any accusation, don't you think they need to give that appearance? Any person thinking that the science is wrong or that something is going to come of this is a fucking moron.

Ban bets are fucking gay. I wouldn't want any of our unique collection of "people" to disappear.

I didn't have the gumption to find anything beyond the season completion percentages because the question wasn't important enough to spend any more time. I don't know what world you live in where 62% and 64% are not 'about equal'. I notice you don't mention that in that game Luck was in the 30s. When you take that into account, you see why I said I said 64 and 62 were 'about equal'. Pick nits much? I guess if you really still want to explore the asinine question of how much impact the cheaterballs had, what we need now is completion percentages for both QBs in wet and cold weather.
I said it wasn't very accurate to state they were the same...and it's not 62 and 64, it was a 2.4% difference. Considering the guy with the higher of the two plays 10 of his 16 games a year outside in New England, Buffalo, and New York...while the guy with the lower % plays 9 of his 16 games a year indoors in Indy or Houston, it seemed wrong somehow to make them out to be that close overall. The main point though was to show that Brady holds an advantage in accuracy normally, and that advantage only increases when their teams play head to head. I didn't mention Luck's % for this one game because that seemed too small a sample size. Honestly even just 4 games head to head seems small when comparing to 16 game season (or their career average like I also compared), but given those 4 games have come in 3 seasons and Luck's rate has been consistently affected (only reaching/surpassing his career % in 1 of the 4 meetings) I thought it was relevant.

Haven't read the other 4 pages before replying to you but I'm sure others noted as well the fact that for a single game and it being Luck's (and this iteration of Indy) first AFC championship game and having to play in colder, wetter weather could definitely have a major affect on his play. Hell even on his receivers' play. On the other side of it, Brady is used to that weather being at home, and it's his 9th AFC Championship game...he's probably over any butterflys by now. Bottom line, I think it's a safe bet to weight either factor (pressure of situation/weather or Patriots D affecting his game) at least as much as some possible deflated ball issue to explain why he had a bad game, and likely should weight it far more.

I don't think we have one Obnoxious cowboys fan on this board of the likes of Cathan, Azeth, Itlan.

That person would have to come out of the wood work.

Collectively...it's worse.

Although I reserve the right to change that opinion if the Pats win and Azeth goes beyond full retard.

As a dolphins fan, I like it. Yeah, he's gonna pay the price even though it's her and not him.

She is definitely crazy, but I think the content of her message is valid.
