Looks great. The only problem with the trailer is the part that says "from the director of Iron Man 3" instead of "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang"

"from the director of the 1.2B film" instead of "15m film" is not an improvement, despite the quality differences.

But yes, excellent movie and glad to see Crowe branching from the cop role.

That's his only 2 directorial credits. One was a smash box office hit and the other is a critical and cult hit. Why the fuck not mention both?

It was not. I mean it's watchable because it's still RDJ as Tony Stark, but it was thoroughly mediocre as an Iron Man movie.

it is the same guy? man all I could think of watching this was, "is this a sequel/prequel to Kiss Kiss Bang Bang? is that supposed to be val kilmer?

see yeah then, that is weird. while IM3 may be the more famous, KKBB is the same genre. Its like advertising MAD MAX by the director of HAPPY FEET.

Oh I know they chose IM3 because it reached a much wider audience (and KKBB isn't nearly as recent either), but its still a bit incongruous with the style of this movie. Not really trying to make a big deal about it, just the one part of the trailer that made me do a double-take.

This. Mentioning IM3 hurts the film, imho. KKBB doesn't. To the degree that I audibly went, "ugh" when I read it on screen.

Love Shane Black. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is a lil slice of brilliant IMO. I did not realize he did IM3, I can let it go. This looks great.
