Eh. I never specifically saw Tenet as a DEI hire. His dad was in plenty of shit I loved. It was an original character. Now Nolan casting Zendaya and the other “in every movie” black chick as canonically beautiful white characters - that’s the MESSAGE in bold letters. I wonder when he will realize appeasing the vocal minority mob won’t help him. I’m pretty sure he’s been roundly criticized for his white casts before. Only they weren’t. They were original characters or he cast people in the canonical races.

Hate seeing one of the few directors I know bow the knee so hard. Also Zendaya is fucking terrible. She’s a racist piece of shit anyway.

The deconstruction of the West continues full steam ahead.

Rewatched troy a few weeks ago. Diane kruger was smoking hot and a good choice as the most beautiful woman in the world.

The sad part is they just had to cast that and Helen with a traditional actress for the part, and the rest of the cast is fucking fine. Now maybe the movie has additional subversions, but the casting was fucking easy for this.

I’m convinced he was about to be told he was losing his deals because he clearly didn’t DEI Oppenheimer. I’m not ready to toss him to the curb yet but this will be his first movie I don’t see in a theater since before momento.
