Can't even remember last time I went to a movie theater. Has to be something pretty remarkable to get me out of the house to go watch a movie with the dregs of society. Was hoping this would be one such film.... so disappointing.

Movie theaters these days are relegated to the same status as public transportation and dollar stores.

When this comes out, we'll have a group of posters who go see it anyway because "I've got nothing better to see," and they'll say it sucks and then wonder why this slop keeps getting made.

Happens every time.

So all the movies flopping hilariously the last few years keep getting made because of 3 random foh posters?

I’m beginning to think voting with your dollars on entertainment is about as useful as voting harder in elections.
i think you have to both vote with your wallet, and actively work to limit the cultural impact of the thing, so that the company can't just pretend it was a success, and keep doing it with government money.

like how uhhh concord (forgot the name, had to google it) was so roundly mocked over and over and over so you can't even pretend it's doing well, or that the cultural impact is worth the sunk cost.

Not sure that will work with fancyman films. they been making money loosing starwarses for years that folks still mock. though maybe that's a trumpet contest between the detractors and the soyface disney adult crowd.

Not really sure how I rank his films, Batman Begins is best of the trilogy, Prestige, Momento, Dark knight and then interstellar? I haven't seen Dunkirk which is odd it's only only movie of his I never watched

You're not missing much with Dunkirk.

Yeah, I enjoyed 1917 much more than Dunkirk, while the later was just okay. I still haven't seen Oppenheimer and probably never will. I just don't have any interest in it.
I'll help you with Oppenheimer.

Oppenheimer is such a dragged out film but going into it I knew it was more about him instead of the atomic bomb. The sex scenes did feel awkward
