odyssey is currently tracking for a $100-130m domestic opening weekend, $200m global ($250m budget). Its ahead of Oppenheimer atm although that had barbie same weekend too so not sure its a fair comparison?

Spiderman brand new day is currently tracking for a $500m+ opening weekend, and the wild thing is the odyssey will have IMAX screens locked up at that time - odyssey has a guaranteed 4 week imax window, opens july 17th while spidey opens july 30

plus moana live action next week, july is kinda crazy this year between toy story, minions, odyssey, and spidey. i assumed moana would do crazy numbers but seems like it might semi bomb like minions? interesting how audiences are starting to reject disney slop
