At least when Ridley Scott crapped all over the crusades he had the good sense to do some amazing costume design, set design, and have some amazing characters that while, horribly wrong from a historical standpoint, were very enjoyable on screen. The cosplay costumes just kill it for me. Can't take it serious. Troy armor looked like it belonged in the setting.

So far I’m not seeing anything really redeemable about this movie in the trailers.
I started Troy the other day for the fun of it, and the opening scene is Brad Pitt laying in a pile of naked Bronze Age hoes. You can bet there won’t be any scenes like that in this movie.
I think this whole film is going to be your typical hollyjew subversion flick. Scott makes some bad movies but he's not a commie bolshevik.
I'm glad you mentioned it. There's something I couldn't pinpoint that was really off, and I was distracted by all the obvious stuff (actors, script) that I hadn't noticed how terrible the costumes are.The cosplay costumes just kill it for me. By Zendaya and Ellen Page at the same time. Two pegs right up the stinker. He sounds like a mouth-breathing retard - "when you look at the ancient world, they didnt have the superior global mindset of today and still treated people that looked different badly because they had not looked them up on the internet or experienced their culture on television"
Dude needs to get fucked.
