I do wonder if all the focus on IMAX and talking about how it's the only true way to watch it is causing people to simply wait and not go to a regular showing. Brand New Day isn't getting any IMAX showings at all (which is pretty crazy) so that seems like a path where they don't necessarily impact each other as much as you might think. 30% of Oppenheimer's gross in North America was IMAX and I would have to think this would be more.

The average person doesn’t know they fucked up the casting. At all. Talking to a friend and he didn’t understand why I didn’t have mg imax tickets. Sent him the cast list and about 3-4 articles. This guy has zero social media. They’ve done a good job not making things obvious in marketing. Anyway, he’s got buyers remorse but he’ll still go.

All I know is everyone that I’ve seen defend this shit also defended the Watchmen series and that went from 2-3 fantastic episodes to a diversity bait and switch so deep they wouldn’t even show Dr Manhattan as a white guy. Of course, Alan Moore probably sucks on black dick personally. Same people half defended the new Star Wars trilogy, black MJ, etc.

The AMC 30 defnitely sucks. I much prefer the UA Galaxy. Which prompted me to check seating for it, and it tells a similar story for Friday, Saturday and Sunday:

Checked Halifax (biggest city in Nova Scotia, a province on the west coast of Canada) and all the good imax seats are sold for the next week.
However, almost nothing is sold for every other screen type, for the next week, in both theatres I checked.

My Retarded Prediction: This will have a "good enough" opening weekend where it's "the number one movie in America!" however the second week drop off, outside of IMax, will be significant UNLESS the word of mouth is spectacular.

I saw a list of almost every major news outlet and well known reviewer giving this 10/10 or 5/5 ratings.

That alone triggers immediate bullshit to me - the first thing I think is, oh, everyone is giving this perfect scores because the media has to give perfect scores to the tranny.

I mean really, everyone is in agreement this movie is absolutely flawless? Come on.
