So this is pretty weird, the cast and crew of Black Dynamite (GREAT movie) wanna make a new movie, using the same cast but put it in a western setting like Blazing Saddles I assume.
This is where it gets weird, they aren't going the traditional studio route but instead financing thru crowdsourcing but i don't really understand it, they are looking to raise $1m but it'll take a fuck ton more money to make a movie so I assume they will get investors too? And it'll come out on blu ray but not theaters? wtf is this?
Really weird they aren't going just straight to Netflix, seems like they would love to make and own this movie.
Anyways, indiegogo campaign link:

And if you never saw Black Dynamite:
personally I've never given a single dollar to any kickstarter/indiegogo and this won't change my mind, if an idea is good you get money from investors not from rando strangers who are easier to con. But I guess if you love Black Dynamite
