I was thinking about it, and I think normies use the word psuedoscience in the same way that people have generalized the use of fascism.
In 1944, George Orwell said that the word fascism has lost all it's meaning and only signifies "something I disagree with."
Almost any time I've ever heard the word psuedoscience, it's almost always for things that are proven via the scientific method, but have not become mainstream or taught in universities, yet. The old adage of science progresses one funeral at a time.
This video is an oldie but a goodie.
I remember Graham Hancock being called a psuedoscientist and a racist in the 90's but a lot of his ancient civilization speculations have come true. In 2025, the Younger Dryas event is commonly accepted in the scientific community as a real event. The cause is not confirmed, yet, but this was something that as predicted by GH back in 1995's Fingerprints of the Gods. Essentially saying that "There was a massive reset event/catastrophe that happened around 8,000 BCE." By 2007, it was verified to be real. Once the dating of Gobekli Tepe hit, pretty much all bets were off.
Idk. I think I just roll my eyes anytime someone says psuedoscience. Because it just tells me that this person probably doesn't know what they're talking about and probably has a rather high opinion of themself and their own knowledge. If I'm mistaken or misinformed on anything, I WANT to know. I want to know the counter evidence so I can see and test myself, because if what I'm convinced of doesnt handle scrutiny, then I shouldnt be convinced of it.
But it's just another thing people use to be too proud of their own self while missing their own flaws. Idk. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Just remember: think and act like everyone terminally online on twitter or else you're a fascist, racist, psuedoscientist, Nazi, etc.
