Ah shit I thought you meant the mouse because I'm an idiot. My bad. Here is where I ordered it. It is a 30 day wait for me probably because of the choices I made on it.

I need to replace my office chair, was looking at that one or I think it was a version of a Logitech x Herman Miller? I’d have to go find the Reddit threads again, this was a few months back. Problem is that I can’t remember if this current one was a gift from my wife, or if that one is at my gaming desk… I’ll replace it and suddenly get the “oh so the one I got you wasn’t good enough?”

If you look up BTOD on YouTube that company does tons of chair comparisons.

The guy that picked the leap at any price is the same height as me. So hopefully it works out.
Leap v2 is what I'm currently using at home. I love it. Didn't love the Avia or Gesture. Use an Aeron at work, and have used an Embody before.

I have a chair & mattress problem.

I bought an Aeron for home back when I was in Philly. It's a good tier chair. I packed it up when I moved to Hawaii so it could come also. So glad I did that.
Mine is a mesh back/butt, which keeps me cool. I'm a sweaty mess most of the time, but this chair is perfect for me.

When I bought it, the chair was only around $800. Crazy that they're $1,800 now.

We had Aerons when I was in the Coast Guard. We had 12 hours watched using those things. They are amazing. I just worry that now I'm old they wouldn't be as comfy as when I was in my 20s. So I went with something more back supportive.

Well, I'm 44 and the chair is still a banger. At least for me it is. I've had to replace the armrest pad on the left side because it was damaged from how the chair for to my desk aside from that, there was a swerving bolt that held the seat on place that snapped, so I had to replace it. Very easy chair to work on, and only having 2 things wrong in 15 years is incredible.

Got mine for $50 because the office next door moved on and sold it to me on the cheap. I had problems with the arms after 5 years breaking apart. $80 each time there. Then the plastic on the bottom to connect the arms broke through which was going to be another $200 or something. Wasn't going to put any more money into it when I found that out. Never thought a chair would nickel and dome me to death.

I bought one of these during a random stop at an Office Max/Depot for $150 or so. My wife decided (after we got home and it would be 2 hours to get back to that store natch) that she wanted one too for work. Go back and try to get another, they are now $300 even when I showed them my receipt from a few days before. Anyhow , you can get them on Amazon, they are very comfy and offer good back support.

I may take a gamble and try that Leap v2 in a couple of months. Wish they would reintroduce the headrest as a better / more useable option. Current chair I've been using for a couple years has one and I have gotten use to laying back. Haven't really done much research on their channel other than the "at any price point" video.

So it upscales your old consoles or something?

Yup, exactly. It's an FPGA dedicated to upscaling; it has inputs for component, composite, S-video, HDMI, pretty much everything, and it also has filters that help to preserve the proper pixel effects and such. It's not quite as good as running natively on a CRT, but CRTs (and replacement parts) are getting rarer and rarer.

This one can upscale all the way to 60 FPS native 4k.

Does this mean the 36" CRT TV that is still taking up space in my basement for some reason is going to be my retirement plan?

Speaking of fans... Went ahead and bought this for our nursery b/c the one I bought 2 years ago for our 2nd boy is a total piece of junk. It is remote only, no pull strings, not dual-wired to the switches for fan and light control, so when the remote doesn't work there's no way to just turn off the light and you can't adjust the fan w/o the remote. It was just a huge pain in the ass. Just want a normal fan for the room. The initial thought was the remote would be good while rocking to adjust fan speed or turn off light when he's asleep, etc. Just more trouble than it is worth.

Also bought another Reolink PoE camera to replace the wireless one in there right now. I want to move that one elsewhere and put a better quality wired one in the ceiling.

And while we're on the subject, decided to splurge this time and go with a bottle washer to make wife happy. Me too, really. Hated filling up the dishwasher with bottles and the little caddy for the top rack just got in the way. We were constantly rotating bottles and washing. Will see how it goes with this, little extra Baby Registry discount along with it so didn't hurt too bad.

(you really don't have to worry about getting "bad rice" in nashville, even costco has the homai brand and my korean friends like it)
i decided to try out the korean rice

i actually didn't want to b/c this would be my 6th bag of active open rice in my house (jasmine/basmati/short/imported all in 5gallon buckets), but yea i like it, nice, firm a touch sweet.

(i actually didn't care for the sekka rice i tried previously)

I don't know much about the market, but when I looked for one recently, the ones I saw were anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand (although maybe more for a highly sought-after model). Of course, they're so hard to move that location is probably the biggest issue. If you were any reasonable distance away, I'd offer to come take it off your hands though, so there are definitely buyers out there.
