Updated the living room setup a few weeks ago. Got the TV from Costco, a new console table from IKEA, and soundbar from Sonos. Everyone was having sales, so it worked out great for me. Replaced all my stuff from 2010 and gave it to a friend for his basement emulator setup.

When I see a sale from Sonos again, I’ll probably grab the sub mini. The living room isn’t that big that it needs more than that.

I'm getting rid of my Keurig Elite and bought one of these today for my new place. I want the counter space and the Keurig is a fucking mack truck and this thing is like a compact car. I also like that Nespresso provides crema. I don't know if it actually changes anything or not but I like it enough to spend money for it. Also, I have debated buying it for weeks and walked into Target today and they had a sale for $60 off so I said now is the time I guess.

if you want deals on the pods, nespresso does them a few times a year

use something like "vertuo pods" as an alert

i think right now only starbucks has a license for the pods

Starbucks by Nespresso Vertuo, Pike Place, Medium Roast Coffee 30-count Coffee Pods, Brews 7.8 oz. if you were interested in other compatible

My problem is I gave up caffeine like 4 years ago so my options for coffee are rather limited.

What do you mean? Decaffeinated has no caffeine.
I was honestly just making a bad joke, but you had me paranoid and interested about whether my joke was wrong. According to fda.gov it has small amounts, which may be practically none compared to an actual cup of coffee.

Bought a mova p10 ultra robot vac/mop. Previously had a roborock s5+ and it worked really well. 100% recommend getting a robot vac.

Kiddo’s grandfather thought it’d would be fun to surprise us with a Ninja Ceami, so now I get to become a fatass and perfect my soft serve game. Just inconsiderate if you ask me!

We had milk on hand, granulated sugar, and vanilla paste so did a quick batch last night. Was actually pretty dang good. Now my Amazon cart has xanthum, dry milk powder, and all sorts of other ingredients to play around with recipes.

See y’all in the my 700lb life thread.

Also got one a few months ago and these are 100% worth it. If you do protein powder recipes you can easily make ice cream that taste great and has half the calories of good ice cream that is 90-95% of the taste/texture.

I use quest 50/50 protein powder myself for the protein. Also try using almond milk or fair life milk, you can really cut the calories there as well but taste/texture does suffer a little.

My go to recipe is

1 cup of fair life lactose free milk
1 1/4 cup or whatever to freeze line of whole milk
1 scoop protein powder
Half packet of sugar free pudding mix
1/8 of cup allurose
2 teaspoons xanthum gum
2 tablespoons black cocoa powder

About 450 calories and 42g of protein for a lot of ice cream. Could do nothing but fairlife milk but that stuff is expensive, almost $6 here for not even half a gallon.

Somos is having a sale again, so I grabbed the sub mini for 20% off. Definitely helps fill out the sound profile. Flipped through a few movies and they sounded a lot better.
