Bro, many of the best helicopter gunships in history were based fully or partially on cargo helicopter designs. Hueys? A cargo heli that made a good gunship. The Hind? Was designed as a hybrid transport/attack helicopter and it's one of the best attack helicopters ever. Blackhawk? Had some very potent gunship versions (DAP) and the next generation replacement for the Blackhawk is being designed from the ground up to meld cargo, transport and attack roles together.

I think you HIGHLY underestimate the power of indoctrinating someone from birth by comparing it to joining some misguided online movement. Really, dude, just try to be a little logical here.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, Soygen, but the point of my suggestion was to get the endless cycle of shitposts and responses to shitposts to take place here. That way, actual discussion can take place in other threads without the usual Tanoomba-dogpile derail that everybody seems to hate despite enthusiastically participating in. Like I've said before, I hate when the discussion becomes about ME, especially when that's just used as an excuse to dismiss whatever I'm saying without actually addressing what I'm saying. I'm basically not allowed to make an unpopular statement without the shitpost brigade immediately pulling the whole discussion off the rails. Keep the Tanoomba attacks and responses here, allow the actual discussion to continue on the surface.
Or, you know, you can RRP a prominent contributor without warning for responding to posts directly addressed to him (while, ironically, continuing to talk about how much more open to a variety of views you are than NeoGAF). Seems legit.
