I make a claim:Jhodi will blatantly ignore or outright dismiss evidence that contradicts the misguided conclusion he's committed himself entirely to.
I back up this claim with hard evidence:
In the
linked discussion, Jhodi believes he's got conclusive proof that MarMac and I are the same person. He's so confident, in fact, that he taunts me with it.
"Why did Marmac ramp up his posting when you left, and then stopped posting regularly again upon your return, as well?" he says, absolutely positive there is no possible way I could even answer it without digging my hole even deeper. However, this being his first post on the topic where he even bothered to acknowledge that I might have a side of the story, I decided to explain.
I patiently and honestly explained everything that had happened. I was very familiar with what had happened because, you see, it was MY LIFE he was talking about. His calls for bans and displays of condescension (that were so flamboyant they made cartoon villains blush) were entirely driven by his conviction that he had me, in his own words: "dead to rights". I didn't only explain my side of the story (which answered his question), I pointed out the many problems inherent with his assumption-based conclusion. There was plenty of evidence that MarMac and I were different people, much of it which could be (and has been) confirmed digitally.
Did Jhodi reconsider his stance in light of this new evidence? Did he even
acknowledgethat his damning "evidence" was based on his
misreadingof time-posts? Nope, he doubled down. If anything, his arrogance only increased. There's a word for people responding to evidence that contradicts their beliefs by increasing their commitment to those beliefs, but I forget it. You know the one I'm talking about.

Fact:You were so committed to your conclusion, you were blocking out truthful and honestly-delivered information that was both incredibly feasible and backed by evidence (much of it hard evidence, even)!
Fact:You believed, you genuinely believed, with all your heart, that your assumptions were more powerful that my honest and fact-based evidence.
Fact:You have proven, unequivocally and without question, that you are willing to dismiss facts in order to double down on your beliefs.
See, a lazy and completely ineffective way to back up my initial claim would be to cite "Everything Jhodi has ever posted" as proof. It's worthless, even if it's just a great exaggeration of a partially true statement. That's all you do, though. You're a colossal windbag. You're willing to post pages and pages of quotes and citations to argue the minutiae of somebody's stance on religion (for instance), but throw logic and reason completely out the window when you go off on one your wacky, ignorance-feuled condescension benders. Here you are, casually and repeatedly calling me a liar, without even making single tangible claim of what it is I'm lying about. In the meantime, I can, using facts and your own words, make a claim about you and back it up with proof.
