Reminder:

Tanoomba is a known and well demonstrated and incorrigible liar and troll who refuses to engage anyone fairly and yet expects to be taken seriously and to have his opinion respected.
Yet another completely unsupported claim?

At least when I called you a liar, I proved it and linked your actual lie.

You fucking coward.

from a psychological perspective, this behavioral loop that you guys have managed to lock tanoomba into is simultaneously both incredibly fascinating and incredibly baffling.

He can only hold his troll character straight if people engage him honestly. He then redefines words and argues semantic tangents until he "wins" which is of course self-declared. Nobody on this board except maybe Araysar today has been shit on harder than Tanoomba in every thread he's entered, yet to listen to him tell it he has been educating us for years. But he's been completely wrong and dishonest at every turn.

But if you don't engage him and just continue to point out his past wrongs (which he hodj's up and won't ignore) it breaks his troll character and he just dangles bait out there for people to argue with but it's so ridiculous now that nobody will do it.

It'd be funnier if it wasn't so sad at this point.

I don't even think he puts conscious thought into it. It's like a reflex at this point.

Real talk guys, has anyone here ever been wrong?
Lots of people have admitted being wrong here. In fact, in regards to myself, a few times I was given an entire book to read (and I did so) in response to thinking I was wrong on something.

Too bad Tanoomba didn't respond to his moon landing debacle by reading up on the Apollo missions. Sadly though, he didn't even bother to learn enough to know what the fucking Saturn V is.

Let me put it in a way even Cad could understand:

If there was no moon landing (As you asserted in your post)...What were the Saturn V rockets doing when they launched?
I honestly don't knowwho to believe anymore... I will not participate in a moon landing debate.
Bystating you don't believe in the moon landing, you're automatically stating it was a hoax (Because it was broadcast on TV, and ample evidence of it was collected).
I honestly don't knowwho to believe anymore... I will not participate in a moon landing debate.
you won't bother supportingyour claim ... that the Moon Landing and 9-11 were a hoax
I honestly don't knowwho to believe anymore... I will not participate in a moon landing debate.

Recap: I explicitly claim lack of knowledge on a subject. I explicitly state that I will not make claims on said subject. Despite this, the moron brigade repeatedly insist I am making claims about this topic, claims that both objectively don't exist and that run directly contrary to the explicit things I DID say.

But somehow, I'm the dishonest one. Anything means anything, guys!

Since you had a lack of knowledge isn't it nice they gave you the additional knowledge you needed to not be an idiot?

That is kind of the worst part of all this. That Tanoomba, confronted with conflicting information about the moon landing, wasn't even interested in clearing the confusion up. He just gave up, it wasn't possible or interesting enough for him to discover the truth!

Think about how damning that is. It isn't even that the guy is just not interested in science. This is from a guy that was absolutely fascinated by fucking solar roadways. Blown away by their awesome potential, how great it would be if we spent money on that. Yet the first time that human's traveled off this planet, just no curiosity whatsoever. He's got bigger things to worry about, like whether or not Anita liked Hitman.

I bet if it had been females who had "supposedly" traveled to the moon he would have instantly believed them, amirite?

Tanoomba being a moron_sl said:
I went through a phase where I thought there was no way we landed on the moon. There was so much evidence it was faked!
You asserted your claim. You are a moron. What you typed isn't magically going to disapear. Saying you 'changed your mind' later when you actually paid attention to the overwhelming evidence from credible sources? Doesn't make it better that you actually believed this.

But what's worse is AFTER realizing what an idiot you were, you allowed yourself to once again be swayed by some nutter on the Van Allen Belt, and it left you in doubt again--all that evidence, and you still couldn't decide. (Which for me, is almost worse than your original assertion.)

But yes, you did indeed assert that at one time, you believed the landing was faked. Which is another word for hoax. You flat out say it. you denying it these last few posts is only making you look more like a fool.

I hate the quote system, that will link you back to the post where you're clearly asserting that people are telling lies about you claiming the moon landing/911 (You specifically said I lied about this too, before this post. I just let it go because I figured your humiliation had gotten the better of you--but obviously you can't seem to let it go until I rub your nose in it.)
fixed the quote tags, or tried to at least

unfortunately there is nothing I can do to fix this thread, or Tanoomba

His precious little ego would never allow such a thing. His general ignorance regarding how to determine what is or is not reality appear to have been frozen early in his life into this relatively childlike thing we now see posting on this board today.

Admitting you were wrong is a skill. It is hard to do, it takes practice, you can become better at it over time, and it is a difficult but ultimately worthwhile endeavor. Too bad Weeby McWeeberson's dad didn't love him enough to teach him this.

unique forms of ignorance are so fucking fascinating.

why did i never click on this thread before yesterday.

tanoomba is intelligent in a lot of ways. verbose, decently referenced. but this psychological holdup he has limits himself in such a fundamental functional way that he seems to be incapable of reverting back to normal communication.

does he realize he's just being toyed with?
