You know, the more it sinks in the funnier it is. Usually when people are making semantic arguments about temporal usage of words? They've gotten to the bottom of the barrel--they are usually trying to stave off abject humiliation. I don't think I've ever seen someone relying on that level of argument actually explicitly highlight the fact that even without his own semantic argument he's wrong.
