Lith: "I'm betting most of these people would be extremely happy if they just realized their frustrations were, at a core, sexual..."
In this post, it literally said it was a troll post. Literally. hah, you are getting desperate
As for the rest; the difference is Tan, most of those were in regards to specific things said, in context, by someone who claimed to be a proponent of Social Justice (And thereby self identified with an ideological position). And I was deriding those statements in a general manner in a semi-private forum, without seeking discourse or having an ethical requirement to offer it for my comments. This is far different from what Delicateflower did because he was posting literally TOO the people in the forum, and using these stereotypes to eschew any need to actually discuss matters with the people he was stereotyping. When I talk to an SJW? I do not accuse them of being an SJW and then shut down discourse with them, I don't toss their ideas JUST because they look like SJW ideas. I evaluate, and then reply to the idea itself. This is why I had civil conversations with you for nearly 6 months, despite our views being diametrically opposed. Delicate, on the other hand, his first response is to go toward the generalization to avoid discourse--and that is tribalism.
See the difference Tan? Tribalism is more than simply generalizing; it is actively working on those stereotypes to AVOID talking and interacting with people. You can stereotype all you fucking want, and not be a tribal person if you're willing to give each person a chance (Which obviously he wasn't, otherwise he'd have seen the thread has been hilariously against redpill.) The reason I posted that to him, is because he was actively using that justification to assume answers EVEN in the face of us agreeing that the guy he was upset about was a douche. His dogma was so strong that even when he got the answer he wanted, he fucking recoiled, said we were wrong and called us redpillers. THAT is tribal, that is not being able to accept an argument DUE to your stereotypes.
Like you and I tan? If you came out and said Sarkesian was talking about Hitman? I wouldn't sit here and say you're wrong, even while you agree with me....I'd simply say, in this case, hey, you're right! That is what Delicate couldn't do; he couldn't drop his preconception to see the evidence before him. That is tribalism.
So, you know, try again. One of these days you'll comphrehend nuance in something--and on that day, you'll understand why we can't let something like the Moon Landing Doubt go.
