I may be mistaken, it's just one of your kids that's home-schooled, right? I'm guessing the boy? Is it a learning disability or behavioral problem? I'm not trying to shame you, dude. I've taught kids who were taken out of school to be home-schooled for behavioral issues. I've also taught groups composed entirely of kids with learning disabilities (who, were it not for these groups, would likely have had to be home-schooled). I know what kids are like. Despite our best intentions, sometimes raising them properly provides us with unexpected challenges. So which is it for your son? I'm genuinely curious.

OK, fuck it, let's look at this rationally:

Case for "learning disability":
- Jhodi himself clearly suffers from mental/psychological issues of his own which could potentially be passed on to his offspring.
- His OCD is the most obvious example.
- His extreme narcissism is another.
- He regularly creates alternate versions of reality and convinces himself they are real.
- He regularly tunes out any information that doesn't suit his immediate purposes.
- He has shown a complete reluctance to ever learn from his mistakes.

Case for "behavioral problem":
- Jhodi thrives on confrontation, able to turn even a level-headed conversation into a mud-slinging shitshow.
- He sincerely believes that arrogance is a substitute for reason.
- He lashes out against even the most minor PERCEIVED slight against him.
- He regularly insults and demeans others for no other reason than to assuage his own bruised ego.
- He will never allow others to acknowledge when he has been bested.
- He perceives himself as the "good guy" in any situation, using this to rationalize even the most despicable behavior.

Now, despite Jhodi's mental problems, it seems he is capable of understanding and reason but simply chooses to avoid them if it compromises his ego. Thanks to the medication, he at least seems capable of living a semi-regular day-to-day life. I do not believe these deficiencies, if passed onto his son, would lead to the boy having excessive difficulties in a classroom, at least not to the point where he would need to be pulled out of school. The behavior, on the other hand, is a different story. Children are like sponges, they observe and emulate those around them, especially their parents. It seems entirely feasible that, exposed to his father's antisocial and highly disruptive tendencies, the boy might take this "Take no shit, ever, even when you're wrong" attitude to the classroom. Angry, unprovoked outbursts, refusing to take responsibility for his actions or even acknowledge that he behaved poorly, turning minor perceived slights into yelling matches... These are things that could lead to child having to be pulled from a school.

It's a behavioral problem, isn't it? You don't have to go into detail, Jhodi, just tell me if I'm right or not. In fact, you don't even have to say "Yes, that's it." If I'm right, just copy-paste that same troll post you've been making much use of. If you don't post it, I'll take that to mean it's learning disability after all.

I am not restarting a semantic debate you have already lost. You continue to lose, you are a loser. I wish you were better, but you are not. It makes me so sad, because I am ostensibly the same progressive mindset you are, but you argue the WORST parts of things dude. You can never just concede the point and try to formulate a different, better argument. You do not have to try to "win" every argument against someone who is/was/has a conservative viewpoint on things. Because nobody "wins". You just get hodj all assburgered up where he spams a forum until it crashes. I mean, hodj is a child with nothing better to do, but I still like him. I like using this forum, I would not like it to crash so much.

Its great, but the forum crashing was actually due to threading options somehow overpinging the database server, apparently.

Once threading was disabled, the forum got better-ish.

I have conceded many points and formulated different, better arguments on several occasions. I don't know if you were around during the drunk rape discussion, but that's exactly what happened. There is nothing to concede here.

There is no proof Sulkowicz lied about being raped. None. That's not a semantics argument.
The only evidence that she was lying is non-conclusive and HIGHLY subject to personal interpretation. You know how we know this is the case? Because that EXACT SAME EVIDENCE is interpreted by others as supporting Sulkowicz's story. Again, the only thing that makes one interpretation more valid than the other is "feels". That's not a semantics argument either.

Now if you don't want to argue with me, I don't blame you. People believe what they want to believe, and more often than not they are unable to allow those beliefs to be challenged or scrutinized. If you choose not to defend your beliefs, whether because you personally don't have the skill set to articulate your thought process, or because you think this is a matter of something being "self-evident", that's entirely acceptable. You don't have to defend your beliefs and you can continue believing whatever the fuck you want. But when you drop into my thread with drive-by comments claiming I am wrong, OF FUCKING COURSE I'm going to call you out on that bullshit and have you put your money where your mouth is. Don't poke the fucking hive if you're allergic to bees, dude.

Jhodi attempted to make his case. His "evidence" was almost exclusively non-sequitur ("Making a statement without proof = lying", "Creating a performance art piece about your rape = you weren't raped", etc). Not only has none of this evidence been determined by a court to show Sulkowicz was lying, it was outright DISMISSED. If you'd like to explain why any of Jhodi's "evidence" has any relevance beyond "feels", you are more than welcome to do so. If you can't/won't, then at the very least don't fuel Jhodi's insufferable arrogance with hollow rhetoric. Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt.
