This one is for those of you who have even a spark of romance in your soul. I know that's a hard thing to say in a forum of self-proclaimed internet badasses, but I'd dare you to give it a listen, while looking up the lyrics.
Loreena McKennitt is an amazing artist. She does a lot of poetry and puts it into song form so the lyrics are often not her own in her songs but goddamn she is talented. Anyone with a soul should find her stuff enjoyable to some extent or another. My personal favorites are "The Lady of Shallot" originally by Lord Tennyson, "The Highwayman" originally by Alfred Noyes, "Prospero's Speech" originally by William Shakespeare (in the back of the Tempest), and "Stolen Child" originally by Yeats.

The only thing I "dislike" about her music is that you have to be "in the mood" for it. It isn't music you just turn on and listen to you have to immerse yourself in it. In my experience anyway.
