That dude is a Youtube millionaire and there are even Youtube people making, seemingly, large amounts of money covering him.

Never heard of him until a couple years ago, when he had some clip linked here that was pretty insane (in a bad way) and a few posts about him. People on Youtube have just kept/keep pushing him toward his death for their amusement. It is certainly the worst of Youtube.

No clue who his audience is. It looks like yet another thing that would go right along with an Idiocracy world.

This is a fairly well done Youtube documentary about him going from 150 lbs to 350 lbs and all you really need to/would want to know about that retarded corner of the internet. The video maker is one of the people making money off of covering him, but it seems to be more on the social commentary side of "how is this guy even famous":
