Haven't dealt with many Mormons, eh? Pretty sure they have one of those rules where it's ok to fuck over people outside of LDS without getting in trouble with Jesus. The whole swearing to God that he would do something, that he ultimately didn't do, is the only part where he might have got a talking to by some higher ups in LDS, probably.

this is everyone's daily reminder that Joseph Smith, the founder of mormonism, had ~30 wives at the time of his death. Totally not a sex cult.
