Their failure in a vacuum would be one thing, but Witcher 3 literally gave them a blue print on how to write and cast a successful show. All they had to do was literally copy and paste it into live action and they couldn't even do that.

not sure that is necessarily true, netflix has the license to the books from Sapkowski not the video games(CDPR owns those)

I read the books but it was between PC games 2 & 3. I have not read the new one yet but it's in my queue.

Yeah I was hoping the main man walking over shit writing would make them wake the fuck up but nooooo they are leaning way harder into DEI shit. I lasted 10 minutes into episode 1 and deleted it all. And to think I *almost* resubed to watch this season. Glad that didn't happen!

It sucks because most of the scenes with Geralt are pretty good. Then you have the 2 stupid chicks. Yennifer's scenes are completely useless and a waste of time. Ciri's scenes are patently offensive making her a lesbian and having her hook up with a startlingly ugly black girl.
