A discord he was encouraging people to use instead, referred to as: various iterations of some topic + "pals" affixed to it

Ex. stockpals, pantheonpals etc

I felt (gut) like this was a wrong thing to do, so I did not join

Then he did this bizarre demand of friend listing him on discord to continue speaking with him which I also did not do... really fuckin weird

At any rate he's not the only one who is disturbed round here

I looked up this friend list thing and it's common from scammers is the gist I got. Idk what it could be used for other than to see what other servers I'm in? Really weird. He was adamant and insisted heavily. Weird!!! Really.

He's extremely high functioning in odd ways. Like very clever with little jokes and shit, hard to put my finger on. *Definitely* something going on with him but I thought he was funny for the most part.

I don't get the joke where people pretend not to notice that Foler is Araysar, even after they just happen to both go missing at the same moment.

Yes. They are not the same person. Araysar is who he says he is, and Foler is a weird guy who lives with his mom in Florida. At some point, he cooked his brains on drugs or something and went off the deep end with all his imaginary shit. Being rich, owning Ferraris, being a tech bro. Endless list of LARP. I think he has no friends anywhere and latches on to anyone who responds to him.

So I was a lil zooted one night and he discord called me. This is something he'd do while I was in the middle of gaming, just let it ring and ring and ring and ring to annoy me.

Well this time, I was snackin in the kitchen and answered.

He did this like southern drawl voice and a satirical account of how we got treated recently (somewhat deserved, up to a certain point) on this message board. It was basically (and I'll do my best in text form)

"They was very un-kaaaaaahnd (unkind) ta me...."

"you have to admit the way ye've been treated was.... so... so unkaaahnd"

of course I am laughin my ass off at this, and him behaving in this way back and forth with me got us yelled at in other threads. My wife is staring baffled from the couch. I have a bit of a twang to my voice that I picked up from God knows where and its not on purpose, he played on it well and I thought it was very funny. He even cracked a few times trying not to laugh, good shit, I can handle iit.

The thing is, I could never get him to break the act and even attempt to behave like a somewhat normal individual in our conversations. We first spoke when he absolutely refused to admit I was married, and he got to talk to my wife a little bit. Later he would go on talking about TC (total compensation) at his job and trying to get me to quit my current one + give him my resume. There's absolutely no way I'd give him anything like that, and he knew it, but yet he persisted. I'd take him as something most people should recognize and that's intelligence is a double edged sword. He was very far from stupid and repeated things I have myself heard spewed at higher up tech meetings, seemingly in a satirical kind of way but also trying to come off as very well informed. Perhaps he was.

I do not believe to this day he was a retard but someone who was way too committed to some act he was putting on basically acting like one.

I met another one sort of like him before... massive underachiever and more of a "pro gamer" than Foler. He at least admitted to me one time that he "just likes to get high and fuck with people". But Foler.... he never broke character and I mean ever, especially when it came to trying to extract personal details from me.
