I downloaded it years ago, but the Rolling Stone top 100 albums of all time is great. Lot of awesome music I probably wouldn't have listened to otherwise. Ended up making me a big fan of David Bowie, Bob Dylan, and a few other "classic" artists that I might have known some of their hits, but never new any of their more obscure stuff.

It's honestly pretty amazing how much effort and detail went in to the production of full albums from past decades. Many of the all time greatest albums weren't put together with hit singles in mind, they were put together to have a certain flow, or tell a certain story. Listening to a great album from start to finish adds a whole nother layer of meaning that you just don't get from the individual songs, or listening to stuff on shuffle.

Anyone have an invite to a good music site other than ipt?

Did IPT delete accounts or something? Mine cannot be found. If anyone can shoot me an invite, be appreciated.

I guess I'm looking for an invite to IPT as well. Sucks that my account with several gigs worth of upload credits is now gone. I really wanted to give that whole Game of Thrones seeding thing a chance.

You're right about GOT, that shit is like a goldmine on IPT.

You can pretty much leave that on overnight, and get a ton of credit.

Ya, I may look into some of those music collections. Those are the compilations that I think are pretty dang awesome. Just as you said Joeboo, it lets you listen to music that you would have never listened to otherwise.

I almost got banned from IPT for throwing my invites around here due to ratio issues, luckily I was able to talk my way out of it. Sucks too because I have like 4 invites just sitting there now.

I have over 3TB of upload credit this year from one 100GB freeleech Sasha Grey compilation. Popular porn star compilations are a gold mine, especially if you have a seedbox and get in early. GoT is terrible for building a ratio, within minutes there are 2000 seeders and by Monday afternoon almost everybody who wants it, has it.

I've been lucky, I've given out around 15 invites so far, and only 2 of them have shitty ratios(I'm looking at you, Noodleface and Grumblethorn)

Yeah, I didn't have luck with this past week's GoT either. I got it literally in the first minute it was posted. Uploaded 1.07 gigs to the 1.25 it downloaded. I downloaded the fucker in like 10 minutes, but was never able to upload at a decent rate. I think I topped out at like 50-60 Kb/s, with a few spikes into the 100's.

Having a seedbox definitely helps that process. I did the same thing, I snagged the initial upload of GoT when it posted Sunday night, and then snagged the 720p rip about 10-15 minutes later when it showed up. I was at 10:1 ratio on both before midnight, but I do use whatbox as a seedbox. Although now, 5 days later, they are still both only like 15:1 or so, seems like everyone that wants it does snag them on Sunday night and then they're done.

Full seasons work great however. I've had GoT Season 3 seeding since the show ended last year, and it's up to like a 55:1 ratio, and keeps slowly growing every day.

wtf? I'm with joeboo on this one. Every single GOT I've seeded, has easily given me positive ratio. I download it, go watch it, and by the time I'm done watching it, I'm over a 1:1 ratio, and I remove it. This is not through a seedbox, but just using torrent client on my PC.

I stream video through a Plex server, so I don't want to kill my upload while others are trying to watch it as well otherwise I'd leave it go and be even more positive upload.
