Sorry wanted to delete my post but all it lets me do is edit
Yea, only admin can delete posts, as there were some fuckery that autists would do way back in ye olden times when allowed to delete them on their own.

Best practice is probably just edit it to say a single line like "-edit: wrong thread-" or something like that. I'm not 100% sure, but the forum software may remove the ping for the user, if you delete their quote from the post.

I did report myself once, when I quadruple posted after being awake for 36+ hours. One of the admins was nice enough to clean it up, but it probably wasn't needed.

Hope this is as good as it looks and some shitbag at CA doesn't decide to try to buttfuck the fan base again on the next DLC. I'd really like for them to actually put out Ind and Khuresh down the line.

Just now saw this mod that basically converts WH1's map into a properly scaled and gigantic campaign for WH3 with most of the factions in WH3 present. Anyone mess with it yet? I figure I'll wait until after the DLC is out and the mod is updated appropriately to give it a spin.

I've played a few campaigns in ChaosRobie's Old World map - it's a lot of fun, but the map is absolutely enormous, and your campaign difficulty can vary wildly depending on the faction you choose.

The last time I played, I did a Chaos Dwaves campaign as Drazhoath the Ashen. He starts near the bottom south-eastern edge of the map, so I played as an interloper to the crazy Thunderdome-esque free-for-all battle that is Karak Eight-Peaks. In the Old World, each of the Eight Peaks settlements gets a unique building chain and controlling them all adds up quickly for big faction bonuses. Downside: you're fighting the Dwarves (Belegar), the Skaven (Queek), and the Greenskins (Skarsnik) - all at the same time. Upside: they're all fighting each other, too.

The only other potential downside is that the map/campaign are under very active development, so you may get deep into a campaign and then he releases a major update that breaks your save files and compatibility. That's what ended my Chaos Dwaves campaign, but I still regard it as a small price to pay for such a huge, free map.

The dwarves are lit. Getting that tier 5 fighter bomber to start Magnussen campaign is just retardedly strong. And there's so much stuff to do it's crazy fun.

Will probably check that next - currently uniting the Empire for the hundredth time. It's definitely easier, but there's still so many threats rampaging around the Empire, I'm surprised they've still got it listed as one the suggested beginner campaigns.

There's way too much to do in his campaign. It's like you're playing the game but also doing a hundred different quest battles. Then they make confederation pretty easy so you get the other legendary lords and their quest battles too. It's much better than just playing a vanilla faction.

They're confirmed in thrones now. All the same though, I wish them luck in their political crusades without me.

I fired up Ungrim yesterday morning and I have to say I am loving the Dwarf changes and all of the new slayers.

CA has redeemed themselves.

For the Dwarfs there's some issues with the new Grudge mechanic that makes it scales too quickly, they already made a post about planned changes though(I'm guessing the week after next). Basically it scales based on known factions, but if you run around with a hero and especially if you start quest battles that are far from you, you end up revealing a lot of random ass factions which will inflate your grudge total needed for the next age of reckoning, which makes it spiral out of control quickly and you can rarely reach max. They're changing it to only count factions you have land borders with instead so should be a lot more relevant. They're also making it longer(15turns) and lowering penalties for low tiers(tier 1 is lowered, tier 2 is neutral) so should play a lot better if you want to turtle for a bit and stuff.

Unit wise though Dwarfs look broken as fuck, those new flying units are stupid it seems like.

Just watched legend of total war with a dwarf grapeshot doom stack. It looks utterly ridiculous with half dozen engineers all boosting the cannon damage (and ammo). Jiust mowing over anything dumb enough to stand in front of it. I can see some mega nerfs in the distant future. Once everyone has bought the DLC. This is a doom stack you can field super early game too. You get lots of bonus engineers, and cannon are a low tier unit.
