who re youu negroe ?

I'm the guy who is now officially telling you to quit being a dipshit. If you want to stick around here, then try to actually fit in a bit. If you can't figure out how we operate and keep being annoying, we're going to start giving you points. Special displays of dumbassery can be worth more than 1 point.

One you accumulate 3 of those, you're locked in the shaw until they expire. 4 means a temp ban. Since you're new and a miscer to boot, you have a pretty short leash before we just decide you're not worth bothering and you end up permanently banned.

Hey everyone, I’m a complete beginner in LLMs / AI and I’m trying to figure out where to start 😅

I’d really like to learn:

which LLMs are actually worth using today,
open-source vs paid/closed models,
whether it makes more sense to run things locally or use cloud/APIs,
concepts like fine-tuning, RAG, agents, and how they are used in practice,
and what a real-world workflow looks like when working with these tools.

I’m also a bit confused about:

free plans,
trials,
subscriptions,
credits,
API pricing,
and which tools are actually worth using when you’re just getting started.

If anyone has recommendations for:

beginner roadmaps,
tutorials/courses,
YouTube channels,
communities,
or even “what I would do if I started today” advice,

it would be massively appreciated

Have you tried asking one about it? Like asking fat kid which candy store is the best.

See, Denamian got rustled when Izo created this thread on my advice, but now I think he appreciates it being here!
