Are you implying that an inanimate object is the equivalent of a "celebrity" figure that replaces social interactions and solicits money from people? The two situations aren't even remotely similar.

Basically what Dom said... being in a "social setting" with these people is much less healthy and more impressionable then some lewd photos.
They are pretty much functioning as surrogate girlfriends to a lot of young guys (and probably some girls) which is going to do some harm to their social development because they should be pursuing real girls they have actual access to instead of some fake friendly whore whose job it is to keep them watching and engaged.
The worst that finding porn mags and jerking off to them did was give you an unreasonable expectation of sex or the average woman. They actually encouraged boys to find girls to go experiment with what they were seeing. But if the women in those magazines were able to talk to those boys and give them reasons to not put the magazine down after jerking off? Yeah, different story.
