He streams to KICK now at the same time but since I don't watch gaming and shit at all anymore,I just catch the highlights which his editors get paid well enough that they have them up on YT same day. So no kick/twitch subs but I do pay the 7.99 a month for Plite for ad free viewing on YT for my tvs. Worth it
Yeah I don't watch any streamers really anymore except a 40 something retro speed runner (around the cutoff for weird trans runners). I do occasionally catch asmon highlights on YouTube.

I still watch twitch for the games im playing at the time. For instance I was playing PoE2 for a wile there with the .3 release and caught some streams of some POE streamers. Right now im playing Borderlands 4 and I catch some streams of that game too. Usually find someone that is not too loud or too stupid and ill watch for a while.

I find that when I watch twitch for the games I play I usually learn a whole bunch of stuff that I either missed or would never find myself since im becoming a boomer now but still like my games.

As for Asmon, he shows up on my youtube feed all the time and if it seems interesting ill watch it.

I watch twitch from time to time. Some of the females I do not watch because no matter how big their tits are they have the most whiney middle school voice. No thanks. There are other women with good voice that have big tits. Pretty sure a number of them do it on purpose for the "I need help" angle woe is me.

This is why I have been trying to keep away from the latest tech lately. It's just all smart this, AI that, loads of screens and smartphone integration all over the place. It's like they want people to be constantly plugged into networks and services 24/7 when it comes to every facet of their lives. I don't even desire new cars anymore because of it, they all seem to be obsessed with trying to stick as many screens in front of you as possible, having to fuck around with some touch screen for every function. As if we don't stare at screens and deal with convoluted touch interfaces all the time as it is. With new products is like you just literally can't get away from it unless you seek out the more niche and old school style products. Everything electronic is just becoming a pain in the ass lately.

I always have new product lines I support from a basic bitch perspective. Trying to port some older (2023, eyeroll) configurations into a newer product line and I just get bombared with at least 3 new “ai driven” algorithms. Documentation isn’t even out on this I can access.

like the kid in me is like sure ai Jesus take the wheel, but you know some street shitter conclave put that slop in there.

even customers are just like…can you make this easier?

LARGE portion of my job is “dumbing” down complex systems. Probably won a large multistate bid because my #1 takeaway was “uhhh yeah users are insane, why would you let them push buttons. Step one is disable…everything!!!”

It's not only I don't watch gamers, my poor pc has only been turned on like 10 times this year, mostly to post here limited times. My body, mostly spine tells my brain no bro that's a bad idea. I get in about an hour of 7d2d every few months thinking ya i'I am going to spend 6 hours doing x and I get up after 30 minutes and crawl back into bed. I can move around ok enough to go out and do some yard work or go into a store but sitting causes soo much spinal heat, pain and surges it has just mentally made me fear doing it. I need to move my gaming rig to the bed I guess. i got a nice 65" tv 14 feet away at the end of bed that only gets turned on in tornado warnings. I watch the 24 inch 720p tv I bought for 60 bucks 2 feet away instead the past 2 years. They need to add a new law that when you die, you are given a full detail to what killed you and a 30 second window to email you doctors to say fuck you, how did you miss this shit before rotting off to forever sleep.

Surprised it took this long for something official. Guessing it's been in the works for a long time and GTA6 support will be coming as well. Koil finally made it.

Also agree on Esfand, one of the few streamers that actually seems like a good dude. Probably the only person I can actually stand to watch play Madden/NCAA football just because of the goofy shit he does with it.

The coach press conferences and half-time speeches are fucking gold. His chat has some hilarious TTS donations too.

Because he started 10 years ago. Getting into the streaming game early helped build an audience before the market was over saturated

He was streaming on the SMU campus with the football field behind him and Asmongold would join his voice chat and streams directly. They were friends apparently.

That's why.

He didn't start 10 years ago. He started like... 5 years ago.

Esfand is one of the few streamers where I would believe he's actually a genuine good guy. Outside of RP I don't watch him really (football isn't my thing, I know others like him for that), but Cornwood is some of the best content around.

Yeah I remember the early days of him. I couldn't really stand him but knew of him through asmongold. How he took off I have no idea.
