Again, its a fucking religion to these people. A cult. They are so proud of being some enlightened atheists, but at the same time being in their own woke ideology religion with ever shifting values and virtues and absolutely no moral codes, that they absolutely abide by, like a good little cult member. Even if it means disowning your own family for not having the same ever shifting social views.

Like I get the "Abusing Animals" angle but you gotta choose an animal that doesn't oops itself that is pictured in, what looks to be, a rabbit condo, each rabbit to it's own fucking condo.
We had my rehearsal dinner at my uncles house which was a fairly decent size ranch, all the guys were outside doing guy things. While out there we noticed he had rabbit coops. One of my cousins came around the corner and spooked a rabbit just by existing, the damn thing ran head first into the wall and killed itself. Uncle just sighed and was like, "damn, I didn't wanna kill that yet." that rabbit was skinned and dressed less than 30 minutes later ROFL.
She's still insane for having more than 3 rabbits though.

In part - if you read about the stuff he did and texts sent, there is probably a lot on insecurity issues as well. That can manifest as controlling behaviors or trying to force interactions or emotional manipulation or trying to maintain an aura of power/superiority
