Sounds like datacenters were unhappy with their view bots being banned and want their AI streamers with AI viewers to generate more ad revenue.

Was a case a while back about some donation/charity for chat thing. It's only fraud if you give false incentives. Like if you say "you need to be a subscriber to be eligible, but from those it is random" then you proceed to select only pre-approved people, that'd be fraud that you gained from. Think the case was something like a large money donation to subs, but turned out the "winner" was one of their RL friends or their own alt account or somesuch. Twitch banned that person, but that's all they did since they have a TOS where they state they take no responsibility for the actual fraud claims. That's a legal matter for the streamer.

However, if you from the start say I will only give away things to people I've approved (like long term subs) and there is no incentive to join a giveaway, then that is basically you deciding who you give your money away to. Which isn't fraud.

Even if it is available for all, not subscriber, not follower, and you get a person you don't like the chat log of and disqualify them, wouldn't think that would be fraud either. Think the requirement is just that you need to state eligibility/terms. It's why all sponsored giveaways have terms that need to be read on stream or have a link to so you can read it before the giveaway (like location eligibility and the likes), and you can't require subs for it since that could push the giveaway into a "lottery" which could violate country/state laws.

Quick google thing gave

You also need to make sure you add a disclaimer that you reserve the right to disqualify any entrants, this saves you any hassle if something goes wrong or people cheat.

Imagine the Vice President calling you a piece of shit. I love this time line.
I think it'll be funnier if high profile conservatives agreed with Hasan's dog shocking. Like if Tucker Carson defended Hasan, how should Hasan react? His fans will glitch out.

Shock collars are a valid training tools for some working dogs, particularly ones ranging and doing more complex tasks and for area safety training. Before using one on your animal you need to learn how they work for training. Using it for basic training is a big no no, that will fuck your dog up. Using it for forced sedentary like that dude was obviously doing is animal cruelty.

People gasping at shock collars are retards, people understanding the tool is being used in a particularly cruel way get it

Posting this here, even though it's YT related, since I can't find a YT specific thread. It's still tied to the problems related to online video content creation. It seems that a lot of YT content creators have been noticing things going to shit for a few months now; revenue and views going down, old videos being promoted and stuff like that. Many have ended up quitting. It's a shame since for me, YT is similar to what cable TV is to Boomers. I've been watching this stuff almost since YT went live. However, almost all the stuff I watch are things such as old documentaries/films that have been uploaded there, Let's Plays of games that I want to see but don't want to play, politics and such, and then a bunch of weird shit I like. Now it seems like YT is going to just focus on two things: AI slop and promoting it's own crap. It's a real shame since there are a huge number of very talented and interesting people there who are probably going to see their main income go into terminal decline. Oh well, it was great while it lasted.

I dont know how much of a bad thing that is. Way too many people making a comfortable living off low effort content or stuff that should be nothing more than a hobbyist pursuit.

I like watching most of LGRs content but should you really make a career out of discussing vintage electronics? Its really social media in general. It just leads to people being faggot influencers for the most part.

I watch lots of fishing and outdoor adventure stuff and I'm glad those guys can be fulltime with it. Content would suffer greatly in that genre if they were just weekend warriors.

If I had any kind of camera presence I would give it a shot myself, but alas, I feel like a retard talking into a camera and it shows haha.
