Not really sure who this chick is aside from the fact that she's big on drama but last year she was getting repeatedly railed throughout a 3.5 hour Outer Wilds stream which I thought some people might find pretty funny. She apparently deleted the master post of timestamped evidence but at around 1:12:48 is when it first starts, it's not super obvious which is why it took some autist 9+ months to figure it out but once you realize that subtle back and forth motion isn't normal it's pretty clear what's happening and it continues on and off throughout the rest of the stream.

Fuck this guy I hope he rots in jail to show other stupid streamers what can happen for choosing a fucktard profession.
Coward judges refused to alter the sentence and upheld the original 6month sentence from the first trial. The judges apparently dont like to step on each others toes over there and didnt want to walk back the original judges ruling.

Did twitch break something today for encrypted streams? Trying to do a 1440p on firefox will flash a blank browser page and then black screen infinite buffering loop, had to set resolution to 1080p and reload the browser for it to work.

edit: Updated GPU drivers and now it at least shows the "Your browser encountered an error while decoding the video. (Error #3000)". Firefox updated recently as well so no idea who screwed up what.

Do you have a scriptblocker or adblocker? I was getting that error on Firefox until I enabled a certain script in noscript. Also are you using a VPN? Lately twitch has been infinite-loading for me when I have my VPN turned on and as soon as I turn it off it loads right up.

With all extensions off Firefox gets the decoding error while Chrome 1440p works fine (7900 XTX). Adblock works on 1080p so this looks to be an HEVC issue, but Youtube 1440p/2160p still loads properly.

edit: uninstalling HEVC then going to Firefox about:support shows HW decoding did flip to Unsupported but the install extension link they provide goes to AV1 Video Extension instead, weird. Manually installed older Microsoft.HEVCVideoExtension_2.0.61931.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe and everything works again. For some reason the 2.4.45 or 2.5.10 do not with Firefox.

edit2: Windows appears to be force upgrading older versions via the Store, so it worked all of yesterday on the old and it's back to not working in Firefox with the new. Had to reuninstall and rereinstall to fix and disable store auto-updates in group policy.

Firefox specifically has some HVEC problem with the 1440p stream client and I guess the only permanent fix is a $1 HVEC update from the windows store or so I've read. I haven't done it, but the audio desync/repeat on streams is fucking heinous.

The $1 version is the same as the free versions so if it's busted paying them won't fix the problem, it's only a catch-all if your OEM or windows install doesn't have a license included. But it's easy to strip out a raw download link from the store or find an archived free version on the internet to save a buck.

Microsoft Store auto-updates Win10 HEVC to 2.4.45 and you can get various 2.5 builds if you have ESU or Win11, but Firefox fubars at 2.4.45 while everything other browser/player still works. So it was easier to go backwards and prevent the store from doing updates. Personally i haven't had any 1440p twitch issues past this version blip but you may need to update your adblock options as some are depreciating.
