Also impatient for average inteligence to raise. Lots of dumb stuff, assholes that always leave doors open, helo pilots that try to drop you right in the middle of combat rather than along edges of conflict. Etc
They mentioned auto door closing is coming.

Really wish they'd leave the firing range accessible for practicing with vehicles and shit, but it probably costs them server host moneys.

Game's pretty fun, but I see the cheeze coming. Mortars are cheap as fuck with a 700m range and the only counter is an offensive against the mortar, no defense as even the temp shelters will get you killed if you're inside. It's obviously a nice counter to camping, but if you're holding a strategic point or sniping it's just mega pain in the dick. Teams have like 3-6 mortars just nonstop pelting other teams towers/FoBs/HZ nonstop and as infantry you're just fucked.

Tanks are pretty annoying. Hopefully the anti-tank launcher isn't a fucking ridiculous 3 perfect shot or 7 rpg norrmal shot kill. We had a team with 3 tanks just sitting outside our main FOB/Tower pelting it the entire time. I had to air drop RPG and rockets and even then they had like 3 people with drills repairing their tanks. CIWS takes too long to build to get one up to blast a tank before the builder/gunner would just get annihilated.

Hopefully there's some good custom settings servers with shit like no mortars, lower scopes for snipers, limited/no tanks, transport choppers only. In the early game infantry is fun and engaging even though TTK is near instant. Later on you get the armor and helmets to EAT bullets, but you're going to get fucking blasted by mortars and tanks anyways. I've luckily not had to deal with any attack helis and the gunner little birds strafe at like 180 km/h so they can't do any lasting damage.

Game is definitely fun with many layers to it. Transport/logistics/building/demolition/ and straight up HZ infantry combat. As long as they don't have a single part that diminishes/destroys all the others it should be pretty fun for a while. I'm VERY interested in seeing everyone in 3-4 armor and helmet in shootouts. Even with AP ammo it takes like 7 5.45 AP rounds to kill some one with a 3 vest. The game is going to move from "oh fuck where was he" to "oh fuck I need 15 more bandages I only brought 30!" Which I like, honestly.

Just like any other pvp game it's going to have balance issues but we won't really know what's fucked until a large portion of people approach the highest unlocks.

The benefit of the purchase system is balancing can be done easily by adjusting prices.

That is true, but iirc the Tank right now costs 500k to unlock, but like 35k to spawn and is spawnable at the start of the game. Obviously the latter will probably change, but if you're IN a tank, you're getting like 1k per kill and a ton of money for driving/assists. It's like nearly impossible to lose your money unless you drive into zone and immediately get octuple RPG'd.

Some of the higher infantry kits are interesting because you'll be dumping like 2-3k on armor and 1-3k on a helmet alone. With bag and mags and items you'll be walking around with 15-25k in loadout, but you'll be tough to kill.... outside of vehicles and mortars.

I like the idea of using money to unlock/frag a bit, then going to transport/building to make money back the next game. It's like crop rotation, you just kind of do "the other stuff" to make the money to do your main interest. Had a lot of people just naked recon spotting people which sounds like cheeze, but it's actually incredibly helpful for nearby infantry when they go "Oh, a green circle. Better kill it!"
