War Dogs PvPvP 100 Person Tactical Shooter

Oh I don't know about the little bird; only the FAL.. I don't know what the minigun was doing per bullet. I was getting shredded by two pilots(only t1 armor so expected).. that was honestly the first time I felt what you had been preaching for the previous month haha.. literally nothing I could do, the scout doesn't even scratch the pilot. I could hit him all day because he'd lazy hover knowing damn well 80% of the playerbase can't do shit.



also, ig the tanks I was seeing is exploits of sorts.. to the point of the blue experiment; lol...? but atleast it proves it was never a "blue has the disadvantage" it's just "blue is gay, but I make more money so blue is win" illusions.

People already with tanks and no way to deal with it, not fun. I'm out.

I'm just glad the ciws is doodoo against structures now. That shit was way too annoying, the amount of times I saw people just build a ciws to break into a base wasn't a ton but it was a lot.

The problem with helicopters, and to a lesser extent the artillery tanks etc, is you will never be able to balance them well enough that they are fun and enjoyable for your average guy without being OP in the hands of skilled pilots. They have a near global presence and can go anywhere. If they run out of ammo its just fly back. They counter nearly everything, but are only countered by specific things. They are capable of having far more effect on the game than nearly anything else. Top assaulter, all lvl4 armor with the FAL with all the best upgrades? He might be a demon, but he has to worry about any thing in the game killing him. Grenades, rockets, bullets etc, and he has to walk to wherever the fuck he needs to go and can only shoot what he can see on the way.

Helos can just zip around and cover the whole battle space and kill anyone and everything in the game (Not certain if the mini can kill tanks and APCs, but I think it can do the APC) while only being countered really by Verbas and MAAWS, or stuff in a FOB they can avoid. Verba is shit and MAAW is a skill shot. We'll have to see how the AA tank fares.

But yeah. Helos give 1 person way too much effect on the battlespace compared to any other kit in the game.

I wish you could see which maps had rain in the server browser. I am getting rain far too infrequently and wish I could pick it.

This game is so fucking ass in a lot of its little things. So this picture is me using free camera to show where my muzzle is in relation to the box in front of me. It is clearly above the box. You see the two dead bodies in the distance? Ok. So, once I shouldered the weapon to aim down sights, my bullets went into the box in front of me. I was close enough to the box I didn't even have room for my muzzle to point forward cause it would have been in the box.

Just for clarification when the engagement happened I was a lil farther to the left and forward so my gun was literally pointing over the top of the box and by position, should have been resting on top of it. Just, afterwards I tucked in and tried to get the screenshot cause I was so pissed. I could clearly see my picatinny's when aiming and they were above the box. I mean fuck it, when you aim down sights your fucking rifle comes up to your shoulder, not you down to it.

They are trying to do the scope over barrel parallax, and I get it. But holy fuck do they just have it wrong.

Also Ural somehow drives worse this patch. I don't get it. Prolly time to take a break

I intended to experiment with driving as main to try out some of the new vehicles but I don't know if I am going to stay with that. I didn't even buy a Ural yet because I'd have to pop to unlock it as well as all the pallets. I don't know what it is off the top of my head but probably 100k or more? So far I have just seen piles of unused pallets laying at unbuilt or abandoned FOBs. If it is even more squirrely to drive that I am glad I didn't buy it.

Unfortunately, for driver XP grind it really is the only choice unless you get people to ride in your car. You can get the M249 kodiak pretty quick iirc, but there really is just a gap in other ways to grind driver.

Also apparently Ping bans are not working either. Seeing lot of people with over 200 ping. Like, holy shit. Did the devs deliver any of their S2 promises or did they fuck all of them up?

What I have seen so far: Little Bird Uber to the HZ and Recon are still pretty good money. Logi runs less profitable since there are fewer FOBs and you don't start with pallets. The new Wolf 110 sucks. We've also tried the Kodiak M249 and Lakota with MGs (last season) and I have yet to see anyone hit much with any of those turret guns.

Not optimistic, very exposed, need a excellent driver, wonder how it does vs any fob emplacements? I got one shot in my humvee w/ a base 50. Base 50's the tiny bit I messed with seem really rough to place with decent coverage sans just up on a tower and hoping for minimal snipers. Mowing infantry probably a dream but I almost would try a pirate fob with 50 behind enemy base and annihlate a few trucks or possibly helo before getting taken out.

My gripe about risk reward still there, bombs free kit, humvee etc still comes to like 10k, vs a buggy free gun naked but for c4/ied is 4-5k (less if you grab free truck) results not much different but easier to come out positive. Popping a lot of fobs today though was kinda fun, but started late and taking a break for migraine.

Nervous about getting targeted for trouble as that's how exploiters were doing the faster truck grind is dropping 4x crates edge of cz rather than fob or something basically empty. So I try to bring at least 500 in random crap, still slow in ural since nothing else carries more than 1. Humvee not helping much since infantry all know to tire it immediately. Gun kodiak is just suicide. 50 truck I'm hoping can at least kill defensive fob stuff,

Saw a gepard, tried to see if 2x c4 would blow from behind but that lovely 3rd person cam gave me away and game ended b4 I could keep chasing.

I wouldn't worry about the Ural exploits. The dropping stuff just outside the starting zone has been fixed. Running pallets to the FOB is fine and perfectly acceptable. I get absolute shit for dropping the crates and if people buy from them its support XP, not driver. So just suck it up, get in the Ural and drive pallets. Unless you can convince a whole lot of people to ride in your truck to the front it seems to be the only real way to get driver XP (aside from snaking the APC).

3rd person camera is a thing. They added rain, and if you first person in the heli's it washes out almost all vision. No effect on 3rd person though. So maybe tougher to shoot, but yeah.
