Just a dremmel to the shoulder, paint on primer, paint on black, sticker, done.
I did have to order more transfer sheets, so waitin on those right now to do the rest.
Pretty sure 100+ for a termy chap was the going rate I saw? This one came with all weps magnetized.
Really like this particular vintage model and it's legal.
Contemplating getting on board the 3D printer train and save a shitload of money. It's worse in Australia, a decent elite unit- just one- at GW costs upwards of $100. A few miniatures for a very basic army is around $65.
You save literally hundreds with 3D printing especially so the larger the army gets.

This is a competitive but "for fun" hobby like golf. It's also a way to forcefully unplug yourself from big rig PC gaming if you want a change in your life.
Met some wonderful neckbeards and normies through this stuff.
Golf might actually be a cheaper hobby and people don't seem to feel as bad about the cost of that.

Golf, Gun, Car, etc - they all require $2000 to "GET GUD" for Less than half that I've acquired like 2400pts for iron hands and a terrain setup for running my own matches. I have had more fun than I've ever imagined I could and have a lot more to go.
I think Kill team and boarding actions are going to do well to normalize the smaller "introductory" mechanics.
I am HIGHLY considering a Deathwatch killteam and force/detachment rn

With the impending release of 10th edition, I think I am just gonna stick to playing small games with minimal rules or boarding actions until its release.
No sense in filling up my brain with rules, stratagems, etcs if a lot of it is gonna get wiped out or changed.

His idea about Warhammer giving away physical and digital world intro magazines would be great. I'm reading through the lore in the core book, and just simplified versions of that would help people get a foothold into the lore.

So, down in San Antonio now. One of the customers I befriended here is a realtor. I asked him to look for me. Also found out he plays D&D and Warhammer.
