Has anyone here ever explored the use of crystals or stones for spiritual development?

I feel it's a vastly underrated resource that gets a bad reputation due to its traditional association with witchcraft or the clueless hippy demographic. I can't exactly explain the science behind it all, and I don't think many can, but I'm open to sharing my personal experiences and how I feel they work.

An example of some I enjoy using are two tektites called Moldavite (green) & Libyan Desert Glass (yellow). Both were formed by impact events here on Earth millions of years ago and their inherent "energy" is described as very unique, I like to think of them as tuning forks that help open up your body's connection to its subconscious. I believe they absolutely do work, and this is coming from someone that's laughed at the idea of crystal power for most of his adult life.

Your experience will vary depending on how in tune you are with your subconscious, but regardless of your level of connection, the more you interact with them, the more the connection to your subconscious will grow. Think of it like spiritual bandwidth. Overtime, it will expand, and the amount of information your subconscious pushes through to your conscious self will increase, and you will start noticing, feeling, understanding, & processing life on a completely different level. Not saying you will receive visions, hear voices, or have magical powers, but it will dramatically improve your intuition.

Some stones and crystals also have a strong reputation for targeting specific areas of your subconscious such as helping ease the processing of emotional trauma or helping you develop more willpower towards your goals or even balance the flow of energy throughout your body (e.g. similar to chakra stuff).

It's all pretty fascinating. For those who have doubted it, I introduced them to it the same way I introduced it to myself, by giving them pieces of Moldavite & Libyan Desert Glass to put in their pillows while they sleep at night. Everyone that's tried it reported having very vivid and intense dreams over the course of a week or so, with some giving them back because they were freaked out and some keeping them to develop their own integration of those stones.

Happy to talk more about it if you are genuinely interested.

I haven't, but anything you use that helps you feel more in touch with your subconscious and your inner self is good. For some people it might be crystals, for others it might be meditation or scents or whatever triggers introspection for them. If crystals work for you, I think thats excellent - it's all about finding what gets you to the state where you can be introspective and not feel fake or performative.

So I had a weird morning, and I figured I'd post in this thread instead of the weird Catholic/Orthodox/Protestant one in the general section.

I smoked some weed this morning and everything clicked for me. I feel like a had a spiritual awakening. I've never been religious, and growing up basically shunned the entire thing. But this morning, I made the connection to Jesus Christ and God. They say everyone's relationship to Christ is different, but I got the message loud and clear. And as of today I can call myself a Christian. The entire thing feels weird and like I'm joining a club that was out in the open this entire time, whose only requirement was acceptance. It's even more bizarre that I've been just looking up random scripture and stuff and it all just kind of makes sense now.

That's it. I've lived a moral and good life up until this point, but now I get what people talk about as accepting Jesus. Wild morning.
No kidding. Ive been praying for you. Not for anything in particular. Welcome brother.
