Meh, it's late enough in the season that these basically never threaten the continental US. They basically always hit at worst as a tropical storm. But usually they pitter around the eastern Caribbean or Mexico.

It's one of those things that bothers me about how they tally the hurricane season. A "busy season" where it's just a bunch of category 3's in the middle of the Atlantic, 2000 miles from any land, who fucking cares?

Got into the fucking 40s here overnight. Not sure what the fuck that was about, but it's way too early for that. Luckily it'll warm up again with lows mostly in the 60s.

But I had to take out all the cold weather stuff that I usually reserve for December and January to take the dogs out.

Hit 49 here at dawn. That front pushed pretty deep into Florida.

Not sure yet, a few minutes after I posted that I read the alarms were going off in Moore and they had multiple large tornados on the ground.

fema showed up in my town the other day. they had a big bus and had people knocking on doors. by the flyer they left, they are looking for people who didn't have insurance. our damage from the hurricane related weather came out to about $3500, mainly to the carport.

It's interesting how when they aren't using their HAARP machines, how they have no fucking clue where this one is going.

Those big two earlier this year they had an almost exact pinpoint spaghetti model. This one could they're literally all over the place. Could hit anywhere from Texas to Florida.

we were working outside today in t-shirts, it was close to 70, then the sky turned dark, the wind picked up and it dropped 10+ degrees

we got about 4" on the cars and stuff, nothing stuck to the roads, about an inch on the grass. still biggest snow before thanksgiving in a long long time. the winter advisory was extend to 7am saturday with another 4" possible
