Shit I live in west TN, we dont even have elevation like in middle/east TN =/ Not even snow. Just going to coat everything in ice and make life hell ;(So glad to live in Florida. Although it's going to drop into the upper 20's, so that sucks.

NGL, I pulled out our generator and did a 2 hour "test run" to make sure it was ready just in case. We're in N. Texas and apparently going to be getting "wintry mix" Friday night, freezing rain/sleet Saturday, then snow Saturday night. I test the generator because anytime anything frozen accumulates in Dallas it seems like there's a 30-40% chance the lovely 1965 power infrastructure in my neighborhood will take some form of a shit on itself and we'll be powerless for a while. The chance for snow in Maryland this weekend is already being overhyped by local media, so the wife is in milk-bread-toiletpaper panic mode. "Do we have gas for the generator???" Bitch, they're calling for 3 inches in our area (well north of where the storm is supposedly heading). Gas for the generator ... JFC
current forecast is 4-10" of snow saturday and up to 1/2" of ice on sunday plus mon-thurs could be coldest week in years.
went by walmart, the water aisle was 95% empty, milk 90% gone, about 50% of the bread, but that was just because the 50% of the shelves had their cheap store brand white bread. needed to fill couple propane tanks, 1st place ran out, 2nd place had a 2 hour line. went to the big farm supply store, short line. the assistant manager was doing the refilling as normal guy was on lunch. said it had been non-stop all day. the sold all their propane tanks, all the propane and kerosene heaters and generators. he said they have never sold out of kerosene heaters before.

Make sure you wear 2 pairs of pajamas when you go to walmart to buy snow supplies.
it's covid levels of milk buying here, ppl are stupidShit I live in west TN, we dont even have elevation like in middle/east TN =/ Not even snow. Just going to coat everything in ice and make life hell ;(

You could always stick it outside with the temps going to be in the freezing range. That said, its still retarded.Always confused me why people buy a shitload of milk for these... There's a big ol' chance of prolonged power outages and you're going to purchase...perishables?
