For some reason this one made me think of Girls Against Boys. I guess Super-fire was released the same year as Bound for the Floor (1996).

And one for the Clerks fans.

1996 is ridiculous.

Never seen this site but popped up in my quick google search for list of releases.

Beck - Odelay
Nick Cave - Murder Balladws
Sublime - Sublime
Failure - Fantastic Planet
Placebo - Placebo
Soundgarden - Down on the Upside
Cake - Fashion Nugget
Manic Street Preachers - Everything Must Go
STP - Tiny Music
Eels - Beautiful Freak
Butthole Surfers...

The list goes on and on of absolute knock outs. Don't go backwards to 1995, 1994, 1993, 1992... it'll just depress you how many amazing albums came out haha. I haven't listened to this album in a minute, although Fantastic Planet is still played regularly. Ken Andrews is pretty amazing.

See that Rick Beato video about the Telecommunications Act...of 1996. It killed the music industry. So it makes sense that it all started going wrong after that.

Mojo Nixon died last week. This song always gets a laugh. It’s good to play on those internet based jukeboxes at bars.

This is one of those songs that float in and out of my consciousness for years at a time. I'll remember bits of the lyrics, and always that guitar, but the name of the song eludes me.
