This song is so amazing. Just a constant crescendo. The live version is great. The version with the orchestra is amazing. I sure as heck wish he lived longer.

That was the best time in music history. So many great bands and legendary singers. I feel blessed to have mainly grown up in the 70s and 80s.

Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Queen, Rolling Stones, The Who, AC/DC, Rush, Eagles, Genesis, Talking Heads, King Crimson, ABBA, The Velvet Underground, Chicago....The list can go on and on. All those iconic, amazing musicians releasing albums at the same time. What a time to be alive that was!

Here's another blast from the past:

The only country music/singer that I don't find completely insufferable and unlistenable.

This girl really wants her Juul. o_O

Goddamn the Smashing Pumpkins but with a female singer are pretty good. Maybe add in some My Bloody Valentine.

All girl doom metal band? Could be an Electric Wizard track:

Somewhere between Nirvana and Foo Fighters:

Wow it's like Dive from Incesticide.

Edit: and whoa this is Bleach era Nirvana.

I've been listening to a bunch of Metallica songs, trying to find ones that my son may want to drum to. The problem is, all the older Metallica songs are 5+ minutes long, and he's lazy and never likes to cross the 3-minute mark.
