Not sure I want to pay $50 for a game I've already bought 3 times. loved the 1st one and I do like me some eurojank. When it's been patched a few times and is a little cheaper I'll get it (again).

Actually The wife & I watch movies on Saturday. Nothing new out we want to watch so I look at what we have and use an app to assign a random number & we watch it.
I did that with all my games (too damn many) and games that are installed so I installed Kerbal Space again & Sea of Stars.

Update 2: Utnayan Utnayan didn't pull out in time.

Watching people play split fiction would make a great drinking game but it would destroy so many livers depending on the players.

The game was epic :) Sludig Sludig was thinking at the end Mio and the blonde chick would get married which was hilarious - it didn't happen so they will probably leave that for the sequel.

Honestly the level design of this game was top hotch and the creativity used was some of the best I have ever seen. There are some levels (most) where it is unlike anything I have ever played and just so cool. I highly recommend those who have not played to give this a shot. You also only need one person to buy it and the other can tag along for free and it will save your progress. With a steam summer sale coming up it's a win win - but honestly, it's worth full price.

Mechanicus 2 is a lot of fun. Its not groundbreaking or game of the year material, but its a fun tactics game for the price, with two very different factions to play. As tactical rpgs go, it has a very tight gameplay loop but you can bang out missions in 15-20 minutes at a time once you understand the mechanics of the game well. Finished the necron campaign and now working on the Mechanicus side of the fence. It has the usual tactics game issue of where you get your ass raped early on but become unstoppable once you hit a certain point in the game, but I prefer that to games that just scale with you constantly making any progression effectively meaningless.

Not sure why I never played the game earlier but Dave the Diver, or as my wife likes to call him, much to my annoyance, Diver Dave, is pretty good and there is apparently some dlc coming tomorrow.
Started Blasphemous 2 but I just ain’t feeling it, it’s so generic and derivative in its gameplay. That’s more about me being bored of melee metroidvanias than an actual critique of the game. I got it for free so it’s all good.

I really liked the Blasphemous games. Plus, the flamenco music is great.

I really enjoyed Blasphemous and happily grabbed Blasphemous 2 when it came out, but I couldn't even finish it. I'm not sure why, I just got really bored about halfway through and couldn't be bothered. I might go back to it someday, but I think the general consensus is that it wasn't quite as engaging as the first game.

Satisfactory. Finally got around to it. I figured it was just going to be 3d Factorio, but it was so much more: factorio with a safari adventure into the wilds of a hostile alien planet with amazing landscapes and visuals, all sorts of rewarding stuff to explore, with a jetpack, all the while expanding the factory in order to meet the needs of the expanding factory.

Me, when I upgraded from the bloody rebar launcher (basically a musket):



big jump in power; the natives were not prepared.

No…fuck that fat fuck out of water the game turns into a cooking and serving mini game where he can only waddle his was to walking speed 10 seconds at a time. The bait and switch of that game pissed me off. Nothing relaxing about it.

So I finished Spider-man 2. I have thoughts. The side quests could get really woke. Mary Jane was done dirty and I don’t ever want to play as her again. Peter sans symbiote is boring to play vs Miles. Miles - I genuinely have no ill will to this character until they try to replace Peter. But the people writing him might as well stick a sickle and hammer on his chest as they try to make him and Peter both into limp wristed socialist cucks. I thought Kraven was well done. I didn’t mind Venom being who it ended up being because I view these like Nolan’s Batman movies - treating it as a myth that can be slightly adjusted and retold.

In general, I felt I could stay away from woke by not doing side quests. The cringiest was Peter slobbering to apologize to MJ during the scream fight. I’m sorry. But Peter at that age in the comics was way more sure of himself and was slamming D-tier model/actress pussy nightly. It’s supposed to be a story of a nerd gaining confidence and growing up and his acquaintances like Flash Thompson growing up and leaving high school behind. My personal problem is that I’m a sucker for Insomniac gameplay. It just feels really really good. I’ll get weak and end up somehow laying hands on Wolverine and Team X 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Anyway - I’m playing the new Lego Batman game and Holy References, Batman! It’s based on The Batman for some reason so you get black Gordon and Mulatto Catwoman, but they could barely make it woke because they just only used dialogue from the existing movies. The wokest thing so far is that Gordon doesn’t have a gun? im only 30% in.
