Well played Lies of P, make me want to play ER, played Remnant II , make me want to play ER.

Now I'm playing ER until Zelda comes out next month. Looking it's been over a year since I played it (after the expansion). It's good to be home!

Just finished Gravity Circuit today and it was probably one of the better Mega Man clones I've played. Its melee instead of shooting, but you can buy lots of moves and special equipment. Only thing that drove me nuts about the game is that the devs have a hard-on for spikes.

I’m about 60% done with Onimusha. About to start up galactic racer some after that. Or maybe finally do the Lego Batman game.

Before my gal bladder decided it no longer want to live in the same body as me I was playing;

Control: Resonant; great world and atmosphere, knob of a main character, combat gets really stale toward the end of the game
7/10

Graveyard Keeper 2: I really liked the first and though this was even better, pacing could be improved but I had my fun so I give it 7.5/10

Metaphor Refantazio for first time. Took me a couple years to actually try it because I was turned off by calendar and social links. It really is an amazing turn based rpg though, I can see why it was nearly GOTY 2024. Calander stuff still kind of sucks due to FOMO, but the social sim part of it is done really good, doesn't feel bad at all.

When I was playing C:R I tried making the main char look as retarded as possible, it wasn't hard.

Kinda surprised I didn't see a thread for it in the first 4-5 pages, but been kind of intrigued by the Ace Combat series lately. I haven't played any kind of fighter pilot games probably in 25 years but I did used to enjoy them a lot. Would this be a solid series to get back into it? Or anyone have general thoughts on the series?

Even though these types of games aren't my bread and butter I would still recommend Ace Combat. These games are highly polished in terms of GFX and aircraft handling. Your squadron's pilots have style and personality without shitting up coms too much. I think the newer games have PVP as well if that's your thing.

The main problem that the modern titles have, (I own AC7), is the aggressive monetization through DLCs. Granted the main game works just fine without them.

Hmm I had the same problem with MS flight sim 2020 (I know it's not the same as it's not a 'game'). A few free patches then tons of paid DLC.

EDIT: Hit send too fast, I added AC8 to my wish list for when it's at a reasonable cost. Like under $40. Just picked up Gothic remake for the same reason. I think this makes the 4-5th time I 've bought that game.

I played this over the weekend, and it is as ridiculous as it looks.

Don't expect more than perhaps 5 hours of gameplay, but it is oddly addicting even though it is pretty much the same thing over and over. I greatly enjoyed the time I did play it.

I have one tip. At some point it will tell you about the prestige system (starting over with permanent bonuses to make the next run faster). Wait until you have 100 prestige before doing it. That bonus is ridiculous, and I was pissed that I prestiged with 96 the first time around and couldn't buy it (you can't see them until you do it, unless I'm retarded and missed it somewhere).
