That's true. The risk of cardiac arrest with any infusion like that. You are also trusting the manufacturing, and it's always 98.5% to 99% maybe 99.5% pure. Nothing is ever 100%. That last percent could hit the RNG number for anaphylaxis-causing. I felt terrible enough at the time I would have gone along with it, out of desperation. I think Trump had an infusion when he had that scare, which was how I was justifying the risk at the time. Nothing clouded my head more than COVID in my life. Glad the Ivermectin worked out, cost me an arm and a leg to get it from a US pharmacy. About a grand.

Holy shit where do you live? It cost me more for the consultation to get the prescription than for the medicine itself. I did have to go to a compounding pharmacy because CVS wouldn't fill it, but it was cheaper there than it would have been at a regular place.

Instead first line treatment remained sit at home and if it gets bad we'll rush to intubate and finish you off.

This was Philly at the time. Some Indian family owned pharmacy with a stupid name. Wasn't given a choice to shop a prescription around, just they write it and fill it. Price gouging for something that costs 10 bucks normally. I didn't have time to hassle looking around so that was it. Barely got a course, was shocked at how few milligrams I ended up with. I'd say I got scammed.

They sell that shit at feed stores. That was always my backup plan if the pharmacists all got retarded.

I don't see how you can pin this on "we didn't know anything". I agree with that sentiment, if we're discussing the early days.

But people were still talking about taking ivermectin in like 2022. Hell, I bet theres somebody whos posted about it even since then.

Its a blatant contradiction. It can either be a fake disease that killed no one, or a disease so dangerous it was reasonable to take Indian mystery pills to survive its terrible effects.

It cannot be both.

I don't know if any timelines were mentioned, but if random pharmacies were price gouging ivermectin, that sounds pretty early. Also, there's a pretty big difference between: "literally doesn't exist", "is pretty shitty and if I have it, I'd like to take something to make it go the fuck away, and if your health is fucked for some additional reason, there's a small chance it might kill you (just like the flu always has)", and "world ending catastrophe". It can be the middle one and everything about the response can still be 100% fake and gay.

Also, aside from that, ivermectin is pretty fucking great at getting rid of colds/flus. (It's not like they were trying to ban things that didn't work.) Until it's available otc here, everyone should have a stash of mystery india pills imo.
