My office is right next to the engineering department. They fired a young engineering intern a couple weeks ago and hired a new one that started last week. She's in her mid 20s and insanely hot. She's a solid 10.

Anyways, there's a parade of nerdy introverted engineers trying to chat her up all day and it ain't working for shit. There's one very, very weird and awkward d&d guy that's whiffed on conversation starters about 15 times in the last 2 days.

Anyways, I went to happy hour with this girl and invited my wife out to introduce them. She's going sledding with us and the kids this weekend. The nerdy engineer got salty that we've been chatting and told me "you're supposed to be Goose and help me be Maverick. You're already married"

I told him "dude, she's a jet and you're a Ford pinto. You have no shot, and neither would I even if I was single. She's friendly with me because I'm married and safe, and she's standoffish with you because you have semen oozing out of your pores"

I'm not sure exactly which part pissed him off, but he's very pissed off.

Morbid curiosity but you aren't in Virginia by chance?

My buddies daughter just graduated engineering and AFAIK started an internship. Shes a dime piece and if I hadn't known the girl since she was 10 years old I'd probably shoot my shot, friendship be damned, but its kinda weird cus I knew her as a child. Also I have no chance.

Ahh too bad, she really is the total package, sort of an ugly duckling scenario. Buddy has 2 daughters, she was the shy book smart introvert and her younger sister was the bubbly extrovert type. Talking like she had every boy in her 1st grade class fighting over who had the privilege of carrying her books for her...at 6 fucking years old.

He always worried about how he was gonna pay for their school since if he split his post 911 GI bill it would only cover about 1.5 years per girl and he would have to pay for the other 5 years for them. I told him not to worry about it, the older one would get a full ride scholarship somewhere and the younger one would prolly end up a trophy wife and didnt need college lol.

The older one turned into a smokeshow late, only after becoming a warm and kind sweetheart of a young woman. I dont think the younger one ever had to develop a personality, she just started at some party school herself, I think FSU. If she doesn't end up a single mom she'll still prolly end up a trophy wife.
