I live landlocked in the national forest. I'm visiting my parents who live on 2.5 acres in a subdivision of 2.5 to 10 acres. Sitting in my room at their place at 2am I hear something outside. Grab the spotlight and open the back door. Within 10 yards of my bedroom window 4 bucks are chewing their cud sitting on the grass. One gets up and ambles off. Guess they found a comfortable place they can see what is coming in the open area.

Still too early to tell much about them but guessing at least 2.5 years old mature deer. They will stick together until fall and then go their own way. No idea what the sound was, deer didn't mind. Everyone has been in a panic someone saw a bear recently which is not unheard of here.

I'm driving this morning to the park where I want to go bike riding and the road I'm on turns into a construction zone with cones everywhere, a lower speed limit, and 3x fines. I slow down but this guy behind me, probably pissed that I'm in the left lane going slow, shoots around me on the right and speeds off. I don't care. I have to turn left off the road in about a tenth of a mile. The motorcycle cop gaining ground on both of us wasn't amused. He speeds by me and lights up the other guy. Made my day.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Fold 6. Out of the blue I have a thin crack on the inner screen that showed up a month or so ago. VERY noticeable and annoying. I was going to spend the 1000 on a newer used 7 or just splurge on the 8.

No idea how this comes up on a feed, but I get "Is your Galaxy Fold 6 have a slight crack? Do this!" The screen protector is cracked! Five dollar replacement!

I assume it was one of those magnifying screen protectors I've read about and I heard they are fragile.

Been watching GenZ and Millennial reactions/reviews for Robocop (1987) lately, got curious after my Eldest watched it with some friends on Discord and they all agreed that it is probably one of the greatest movies ever made. It's been a year since then and he stands by that statement and it's sentiment that is being shared by a newer generation discovering that amazing and wonderful movie.

It's heartening when something you love, and I fucking love that movie, ages like wine (except for those ED-209 shots and that final shot of Dick Jones which were kind of shit, especially the Jones shot, for their time) and is appreciated by a younger audience.

Watched Robo and 2 this past weekend with my wife. She thought she'd seen them before but turned out she hadn't. She said she really liked them. The sequel was her idea so I guess she meant it.

When you have a problem in your house but don't have the right tools.
So you go out and buy some new tools... **pickle slightly tickled**

...and you solve your problem with no issues, troubles, or hiccups. **pickle well tickled**

Mid last week cat stopped eating as much. By Saturday he was actively hiding. Not a good sign. Monday we go to the vet. Going to the vet stresses him out big time but had to do it. They did blood work then send us home with paperwork for FIV and a lot of meds. Blood work came back today , he's just a little anemic. Apparently he had a reaction to the rabies booster (damn fauchi!!!) and it knocked his system out of whack short term.
I seriously thought we were going to have to put him down , this is great news.
