Motherfuckers discontinued my Stinger though. I understand that luxury/performance sedans aren't really selling, but when you have something that outperforms BMW, Audi, and Mercedes and you don't have to pay an extra 30k for what is basically badging? It was a great value.

Looking at an Integra Type S because I'm a sucker for sedans, but kind of waiting on the suspected redesign that is coming for the 2026 model year. If it sucks, I'm sticking with the 2024.
Check out the TLX Type S.

Yeah that's why I was focusing in on the Pacifica b/c reviews for it have been pretty high and it doesn't look THAT bad. It is due for a refresh though as I believe it still based around a 2016 frame and needs some interior tech upgrades. I really just want our truck and a family hauler.

And as Sludig just alluded to, while a minivan can get in to the $50k I'm basically looking at $100k+ for a Grand Wagoneer and similar. Which just isn't worth it in my opinion.
Watch like the savagegeese video's, I dont think theres anything about the pacifica to sway you to it rather than the Jap ones. Honda has wierd vacuum built in, toyota's got a hybrid option I was half way tempted as a commuter/farm beater mobile, but the prices again kept it away.

I'm a retard. The TLX not the Integra Type S is what I've been eying.

But yeah, the TLX is great looking. I'm just curious to see what they do with the suspected redesign in this next model year before I pull the trigger.

Still semi sorta small, maybe not the 90. Too faux luxury imo for a family hauler/school sports car. (We've had numerous mazda's)
The main thing about the CX-90 and other similar sizes is maneuverability of kids from back seat through second row captains chairs both filled with rear facing car seats. I’m not huge on the “just crawl over everything and get out” but that’s a personal thing. So going the full size gigantic route or the mini-van sliding door route seemed the most favorable. We’ll see how it works with the Santa Fe. We’ve got the car seats just haven’t put two in at the same time since the other lives in my truck.

That’s what we need to do, just go out there and play around haha.

This does look better, but I'd rather just suffer the stock look and not worry about having to paint match the psycho green color I ordered. I think the only mod I'm going with initially is a little carbon fiber spoiler to match the CF roof.

Maybe this by Adro.

BMW is retarded with their designs and this looks like shit to me as well. It is sad how far that brand has fallen.

Just grab a Sienna. You'll be in love with it in a few days.

Probably the big thing you want on it is the PVM. Panoramic View Monitor. It's great if you frequently park in tight spaces. Sure, it has front radar, but this is a bit handier. If you live in an area with snow, get AWD. Keep in mind also that Toyota LOVES to put really SHIT tires on their vehicles. If no snow then no worry about AWD or tires.

Also, 35 MPG combined...600 mile range...LOL.

We still really love the wife’s 2025 Santa Fe. For the price and tech it is very comfortable to drive and take on road trips. The main issue is that with our soon to be family of 5 and needing two car seats and one booster seat, plus eventual after school sports activities, the Santa Fe just doesn’t have the extra bit of room, comfort, and storage. Storage primarily. With the third row up the truck is effectively useless for suitcases, strollers, presents, etc.

So now I’m like shit, do I need a Grand Wagoneer or Escalade? Stick with a Telluride or Pallisade and trade in her Santa Fe? Or just see if she’ll drive a Chrysler Pacifica. Biggest impediment to anything is our garage at this house barely fits the Santa Fe or we would have gone one step larger to begin with. My RAM already sits outside and we don’t want two cars in the driveway.
Check out the KIA Carnival. It’s a minivan but looks like a SUV and has badass zero gravity seats. The back row can even convert into zero gravity loungers. Looks badass to travel in, my wife was bummed when we saw it a few weeks after she got her new Atlas.

Yeah Vans are just darn good and best practicality for family hauling.

Cheaper than equivalent sized Crossover. Better MPGs than equivalent etc.

Sliding doors are just nice.

Loved my Quest and now plug in hybrid Pacifica. You can get vans in really nice trims. But yeah van…but still…

Once you have three or more kids who gives a fuck what you drive. I’d embrace the shit out of a van.

My wife drives the van and the kids around- she is like “your buying me a the big QX80 once these darn kids are gone!” She has gone from “i only drive my little civic!” To “i want the giant suv”

Just did some minivan shopping. If you can get over the minivan stigma, nothing is more versatile or easier to deal with car seats and family hauling. Plus they have phenomenal utility. Only problem is you're limited to four options and it's a bit of a hot market.

The Sienna was out of the question since dealers around here are ripping people off with them - 5k over sticker and/or loaded up with every stupid dealer option possible. That said, they are holding their value remarkably well. If getting one, I'd pass on the AWD since it limits some of the versatility of the interior from what I recall. Same goes for the reclining captain's chairs.

Chrysler: I was purchasing, so, nope. If leasing, maybe, then could buy out the lease potentially if it's a good one. Nice interior, great functionality, just rolling the dice on overall reliability and don't hold their value nearly as well because of it.

Honda: Nice but semi dated interior. Tech is extremely dated - you don't even get rear SONAR sensors on the lowest grade. I drove a Limited trim and it still only had a backup camera and only rear SONAR. My wife has gotten a bit reliant on the birds eye / SONAR, so, was a slight concern she wouldn't be comfortable driving it or forget it wasn't present. Dealbreaker for me was the idle stop/start system. Holy shit was it bad - one of the absolute worst implementations of that I've ever driven.

Kia Carnival: Great interior, great tech, nice ride, probably best styling. Drove a hybrid SX trim, was darn near perfect. Only gripe I could think of was the combo radio/hvac controls - dumb gimmick where you have to toggle between the two. Just give me simple switches for both. Only thing I'd avoid is the 2nd row captains chairs - while nice, they limit your versatility a bit. Same goes for the blue/white interior - not sure what crackhead thought that would be a good idea in a family hauler. They didn't seem to be selling very well - they were advertising below sticker and had pretty solid financing.

I really didn't like the G87 M2 when it came out a couple years ago. I much preferred the first gen body, but it's kind of grown on me at this point. I dig the flared out rear fenders a lot, though I do not like the front end still. Looks...smooshed. That said, the options for smaller, fun and relatively fast cars WITH a manual continues to shrink. I still don't know what BMW was thinking with the huge grill shit they are doing on other models.
I still have my M2 (F87) and I have a hard time moving from it. The new M2 is too long and heavy (i dig the front look but not the back, go figure), however for this weight/dimension I'd rather go with the M3. However I dont dig the look. M4 is out of the question, I could trick my wife once for a 2 doors car, but she won't let me do that to her twice.
I might go with an Alpina, keep the old school 3 serie look but with huge torque and hp.

VCM (Variable Cylinder Management) on those have been bad for eons. You can get a VCM/ECO bypass module that takes 10 minutes to install, costs $150. VCM 2.0 on the previous gen was known to break piston rings, engine mounts, cause excess oil burning. I don't know about the VCM implementation on the new ones, but it can be bypassed with said kit.
