I don't see much on the edition to be worth the premium over just a higher trim GTI. Havn't looked in a bit, but I was irritated how expensive R's are now for I thought not really that much more oomph in them. Course I saw this as a bitter R32 owner and miss the giant v6 rather than just a mildly retuned normal gti.

Also I giggle a tiny bit because my bike has close to the same horsepower.

My dad was shopping miata's, but found them too small at 6ft2, out of the hot hatches, I was trying to get him to go look at the VW's. Sportier than he'll actually use with nicer interior than getting a RS or something. He's not the type to go grab a BMW or something as he's moderately thrifty even in comfy retirement. Ended up with a paperweight of an old british MGB gifted from a relative.

Just picked up a Challenger 392 t/a this last weekend. Rides a little rough but crazy fun to drive.

My man. I bought a used 2016 scat pack challenger back in March after trading my old one in.

OK, closest place to a general car thread to post this, so here goes...

I take my car in to get the seats cleaned and conditioned. I'm hoping since this is the dealership whatever cleaner and conditioner they use will give the same great leather seat scent the car had when I got it back.... it did not. So I decide to look for some options to find that magical leather scent which was so great.

I hit amazon and find this three scent package. Two I completely understand... but the third???

They call it the "Smell of Success", but seriously.... What exactly does body glitter and daddy issues smell like?

I picked a 2018 VW tiguan the end if Nov got a great deal and of course the wife drives it more already. Sorry for dirty pics but it is the winter in the midwest. What a difference the AWD makes vs my old Mazda 5 FWD.

Just got a call from my MB dealer and they have a s65 amg coupe in stock. Been on the fence of either adding the s65 or amg gt c to my stable? Anyone own either? Originally was gonna pick up an Aston but nearest dealer is 30min away and I'm lazy.

Nah not an upgrade. Just haven't owned a benz before and really liking amg's new engines. Currently have a 911 gt3, tesla model x, a huracan and then a Chevy Tahoe (grocery getter).

Yea now if only it didn't have a totally shitty 1.5L 3 cylinder engine and sound like a lawn mower.

Wow, I actually thought it was an all electric vehicle, not a hybrid. Looking at the specs, who the fuck would spend 150K on this thing when it has a range of 20 miles just on battery lol?

No it's kinda like what the NSX is now, it's an electric-assist hybrid. It's "decently" fast when it has power, when it runs out of charge its dog slow. And it sounds like an econocar.

You can't take car advice from Cad anymore, he might as well work for Tesla.

False. I went to the MB dealer to drive one of the new AMG GT's the other day. First car in a long time that had me considering pulling the trigger.

I'm sure I'll end up with another 911 at some point though.

And if you haven't owned a full electric you shouldn't comment. Particularly the fast ones. I have owned every type of fast car made. These things are fucking bad ass.

Almost pulled the trigger on this GT C last week and backed out. Can't decide what to buy next. Like what you did on the i8 but engine option blows. On the fence of either a sports versus fast lux sedan. Always wanted a f12 berlinetta, the 812 is looking sexy. Always been an Audi fan since I got my first S8 in 07 so maybe a rs7 or wait and see what s8 is on the horizon.

Dunno if the new RS7's have it or not, but I drove a 2019 A6 as a loaner while my 2018 S5 was in the shop and the suspension was like riding on clouds and the new electronic interior is super sweet.

Audi can be hit or miss.. My 2014 S4 was flawless and I loved it. My 2018 S5 sportback, so far in one year and 12k miles, has had the following problems: 2 dead airbags (separate occasions), dead airbag wiring harness, dead engine thermostat, dead hatch lock button, 3 dead "premium" Bang and Olufson speakers (also all at different times), and an insufferable rattle from the passenger door that took them multiple tries to eliminate. Also the throttle response is dogshit in any mode other than Dynamic Sport.
