I was never into splitters and other ricer stuff, it's not for me. I'm cautiously optimistic for the new cars, it's cleaner looking than the current stuff at least. Probably won't hit the high point of the E46/E38 generations, but I have one of those sitting in my garage already. Right now I'd seriously consider a Kia over a BMW and that's not a good place for them to be in.

This does look better, but I'd rather just suffer the stock look and not worry about having to paint match the psycho green color I ordered. I think the only mod I'm going with initially is a little carbon fiber spoiler to match the CF roof.

We still really love the wife’s 2025 Santa Fe. For the price and tech it is very comfortable to drive and take on road trips. The main issue is that with our soon to be family of 5 and needing two car seats and one booster seat, plus eventual after school sports activities, the Santa Fe just doesn’t have the extra bit of room, comfort, and storage. Storage primarily. With the third row up the truck is effectively useless for suitcases, strollers, presents, etc.
So now I’m like shit, do I need a Grand Wagoneer or Escalade? Stick with a Telluride or Pallisade and trade in her Santa Fe? Or just see if she’ll drive a Chrysler Pacifica. Biggest impediment to anything is our garage at this house barely fits the Santa Fe or we would have gone one step larger to begin with. My RAM already sits outside and we don’t want two cars in the driveway.

I know they sound faggoty but go look at a Sienna/Odyssey.. once you get past the whole I'm driving a minivan thing, they drive a lot better than SUV's, they have more room than SUV's, and they fit in places SUV's don't.
They are OUTSTANDING family vehicles. Just go give them a look and see what you think.

Yeah that's why I was focusing in on the Pacifica b/c reviews for it have been pretty high and it doesn't look THAT bad. It is due for a refresh though as I believe it still based around a 2016 frame and needs some interior tech upgrades. I really just want our truck and a family hauler.
And as Sludig just alluded to, while a minivan can get in to the $50k I'm basically looking at $100k+ for a Grand Wagoneer and similar. Which just isn't worth it in my opinion.

I would never look twice at a Stellantis product when Toyota/Honda products in the same product class are available. Like not even for half a second. Drop that Pacifica from your mind.

I had a Pacifica as a rental, and it was surprisingly nice. I would never have problems getting one as a rental again.

Yeah, I loved my CX-7 and would totally go back to Mazda. Forgot they did the CX-90 now. Think we looked at that before getting the Santa Fe and it ended up being too long for our current garage.
Plan right now is to just suffer through birth in October and stick with it and see how much of a struggle it really is, then make a decision around that and where we are in the new home purchase area.

Pacifica is straight up trash. Loses 50% of MSRP in 2 years. Engines and transmissions are junk.
The top minivan by far in terms of reliability is the Sienna.
The Hondas have been potatoes for a few generations now. Friend has a new one and hates it. Something always wrong with it.
I know nothing of the Sedona. Looks like a slick package, though.

Grand Wagoneer has a fuckload of huge problems with reliability and bad engineering that can't be fixed. Pretty much the only way to do a large US brand SUV is to lease.

You know what? I'm with you. I thought the current gen M2 styling was a massive step backward when it came out a couple years ago, but it has grown on me and now I think it's actually not bad from a lot of angles. More of a muscular look than the rounded look of the previous gen. The previous gen is still better looking of course but at least the current gen isn't offensive, unlike the 4 series.
The rear wheel 'box' flares are especially cool now IMO.

Motherfuckers discontinued my Stinger though. I understand that luxury/performance sedans aren't really selling, but when you have something that outperforms BMW, Audi, and Mercedes and you don't have to pay an extra 30k for what is basically badging? It was a great value.
Looking at an Integra Type S because I'm a sucker for sedans, but kind of waiting on the suspected redesign that is coming for the 2026 model year. If it sucks, I'm sticking with the 2024.
